We can always count on Keanu Reeves to make the best out of a less than ideal situation — and that is precisely what he did.
Airport and flight complications are probably some of the most stressful things to have to deal with. But Keanu made the experience a great one for everybody involved.
Keanu was travelling on a United flight from San Francisco to Burbank in Los Angeles.
But suddenly the plane was forced to make an emergency landing.
In an attempt to make the situation a bit more bearable for everyone else, Keanu decided to take charge.
He is seen in video footage taking initiative to help revise travel plans.
But ultimately, Keanu and some of the other passengers board a van to drive the rest of the way to their destination.
At that point, it was a hell of a lot easier to take a road trip the rest of the way, than wait for a new flight.
Despite the circumstances, Keanu actually seemed very optimistic about the road trip.
He had a very “getting there is half the fun” kind of attitude, and it was rubbing off on everyone around him.
Once everyone was on the road, Keanu became even more of a hoot!
He read aloud fun facts about Bakersfield to his fellow passengers and eventually used his phone to play music that was native to Bakersfield.
Pause. Can you imagine being on an impromptu road trip with Keanu Reeves? The Keanu Reeves?
That would be the greatest story — I would literally never stop telling it.
After the long day of travelling had finally come to a bittersweet end, Keanu was seen heading to a Carl’s Jr.
He probably worked up quite an appetite being the life of the party.
Note to self: If I’m ever looking for someone to take a road trip with, Keanu Reeves is the first person I’m going to call.
Something tells me he has a ton of road trip car games up his sleeve.
This person is just glad that someone caught the whole thing on tape.
I personally would have appreciated a much more up close and personal angle. But this will have to do.
Then they pointed out that they never in their life thought they’d see Keanu Reeves holding up his phone in a van, playing music for a bunch of strangers.
That is seriously a once in a lifetime opportunity.
