Probably the second most beloved villain in the MCU is Loki.
(Sorry Loki, but Thanos has kind of overshadowed you a little bit).
But, big purple alien overlords aside, Loki was the OG big baddie. He was the first thing the Avengers had to team up to defeat.
And Tom Hiddleston is part of the reason we love him so much.
He just brings so much charisma to the role.
He’s the guy you love to hate, or if you have a thing for villains, just the guy you really, really love.
So recently he went on ‘The Tonight Show’.
Where he and ol’ James T. Fallon went over his Thor audition tape. You know, right back to the beginning of it all.
And he was actually auditioning for the role of Thor.
It’s hard to picture that we could have gotten a Loki that wasn’t Tom Hiddleston.
Or a Thor that wasn’t Chris Hemsworth.
Could you imagine if the roles were reversed? A big meathead Loki and a small, skinny Thor?
