Wedding season is very quickly approaching. We all know that wedding gown styles come and go, but right now we’re reallllly into the modest gowns, and you’re about to see why.
Meghan Markle
Meghan Markle’s wedding dress was so iconic that it has its own Wikipedia page.
It was designed by head Givenchy designer, Clare Waight Keller. She chose her for her more “relaxed demeanor.”
The dress is without any adornments, but undeniably elegant.
Karlie Kloss
Model Karlie Kloss married Joshua Kushner (yeah, that Kushner) in custom Dior.
She kept things traditional with lace detailing, keeping her shoulders and arms covered by a sheer overlay.
She topped off the dress with a prim, thin belt.
Miranda Kerr
Miranda Kerr’s gorgeous gown was akin to a modern Grace Kelly look.
She was married in custom Dior. Rather than lace, Miranda kept things sleek and shiny with silk and beaded flowers.
Poppy Delevingne

Poppy Delevingne’s custom-made Chanel was designed by the late Karl Lagerfeld himself.
Poppy was able to remove the bottom, sheer portion to convert her gown into a shorter number for her reception!
(Also, her hubby low-key looks like a blonde Benedict Cumberbatch. I can’t be the only one that sees it, right?)
Christina Ricci

Christina Ricci shared her gorgeous wedding dress with the world on Twitter.
Her gown was custom Givenchy, designed by Riccardo Tisci. She chose to add a bit of personality to her dress with a slight cut-out on her shoulder.
Priyanka Chopra
Priyanka Chopra’s wedding dress is one that dreams are made of. (Actually, all three of them were.)
She was covered from head to toe in sheer, gorgeous lace with pearl beading. Her gown was custom Ralph Lauren, and had 2,390,000 mother-of-pearl sequins.
She topped it off with a 75-foot train. Yup. 75 feet.
Bridget Moynahan
Bridget Moynahan tied to knot in a vineyard, where she kept warm with a wrap for her shoulders.
Her dress featured layers of textured chiffon. She decided to forgo the veil!
Kate Upton
Valentino was Kate Upton’s choice for her fairytale wedding dress.
Her plunging neckline was covered with demure, intricate lace. She opted for sleeves on her ballgown, as well, and wore her hair down for her big day.
Serena Williams

Serena Williams rocked three gowns on her wedding day!
This giant gown was custom Alexander McQueen, designed by Sarah Burton. She added a beaded cape to walk down the aisle, which she paired with a veil pinned to her updo.
Diana Agron

Diana Agron kept herself covered from head to toe with this almost nude illusion dress.
Her dress was Valentino, and cost a reported $20,500. It was right off the runway, and featured both sequins, as well as beading!
Nicky Hilton
Paris’ younger sister went for a high-necked gown.
She chose prominent lace detailing that covered the entirety of her gorgeous dress. Like Diana, Nicky wore Valentino embellished with crystals and vintage lace.
Alison Williams
Custom Oscar de la Renta was the order of the day when Alison Williams said her vows.
Her gown featured floral embroidery laid over crisp, white satin. She had the custom gown designed by Peter Copping.
Kate Middleton

The wedding everyone was talking about called for one hell of a dress.
Like Meghan, Kate’s wedding dress has its own Wikipedia page. She wore custom Alexander McQueen, designed by Sarah Burton for the fashion house.
Kim Kardashian

Shockingly, Kim kept things quite demure on her wedding day.
Her custom Givenchy gown was high-necked, featuring cut-outs on the sides that were accented with a band through them.
Sure, the back was open…but the front sure was modest and stunning!
Geri Halliwell

Ginger Spice opted for renowned custom dress designer, [Phillipa Lepley](Geri Halliwell), to create her wedding dress.
It featured a french lace overlay, sleeves, and a silk veil. She wore her hair down for the big day.
