This is what’s prompted many celebs to get married past the age of 40. Whether they took their sweet time or had to go through many frogs to find the one, here are 12 celebs who said “I do” after 40 .

The Hilton heiress had to kiss quite a few frogs before she found her prince. She was even engaged to one of them! She finally found the right one in businessman Carter Reum in 2019. They got married in November 2021 when the reality star was 40.
2. Cameron Diaz
The Holiday actress has done a few things later in life, starting with marrying her husband, Benji Madden at 42. Diaz met the Good Charlotte guitarist through her good friend, Nicole Richie, who’s married to Benji’s brother, Joel.
At the “In Goop Health” wellness summit panel, Diaz shared why she got married later in life.
“I think it’s a matter of I just hadn’t met my husband. I had boyfriends before, and there’s a really, really distinct difference between husbands and boyfriends.”
3. Taika Waititi
The Thor: Love and Thunder actor/director was 46 when he wed the 31-year-old singer , Rita Ora. They got married in a very small ceremony. This came after he divorced Chelsea Winstanley in 2018, with whom he shared two kids.
4. Kourtney Kardashian
It took the right man to get The Kardashians star to settle down. Even though she and her ex, Scott Disick, toyed with the idea (and even visited a chapel), they never got married.
