Wardrobe malfunctions are quintessential to being famous. By simply being a celebrity, you’re tempting the hands of fate. Wardrobe issues and fame are a package deal. It comes with the territory.
But there’s nothing better than a celebrity that handles a wardrobe malfunction like a champ.

Gigi Hadid is no stranger to wardrobe malfunctions, and she’s been known to handle them quite gracefully in the past.
In September, 2017, while walking the runway at New York Fashion Week, Gigi accidentally lost one of her shoes.
She supposedly lost her shoe just moments before she hit the catwalk.
So, she decided to do it with just one high heel on.
She even made sure to walk on her tip-toes so that her shoeless foot would match her other.
In April, 2018, on her way to Fendi’s Spring fashion show, Gigi wore a bold pink and white plaid power suit with matching white leather boots.
Unfortunately, she noticed a rip on the inner leg of her trousers. She was able to save the day, however, making a last-minute ditch-effort to quickly sew the tear on her way to the show.
In February, 2016, Gigi suffered a major nip-slip walking the runway in a black, slinky, cowl-neck Versace dress.
Although this would have been a nightmare situation for most people, Gigi Hadid is not most people.
Donatella Versace, herself, even high-fived Gigi for maintaining her composure so well.
Not many people could have kept their cool after nearly revealing their entire breast to an audience of complete strangers.

After the show, she shrugged off the entire thing even more with a single tweet.
And just like that, she proved how unphased she was.

Over the weekend, walking down the runway at Marc Jacobs’ NYFW show for Spring 2020, she experienced yet another wardrobe mishap.
And once again, she couldn’t have seemed more calm, cool, and collected about it.
She was rocking a pale blue ribbed dress with a matching hat — looking stunning as always.
This look was, however, supposed to be paired with a pair of white high-heel mules.
But just before walking the runway, one of the heels on her shoe broke off.
Instead of walking with one shoe on, one shoe off — as she has done before — this time she walked completely bare-foot.
She adorably tip-toed the whole way, as though she were wearing high heels.
The show’s stylist explained the situation in more detail on Instagram later on, noting that having Gigi walk in her bare feet was a group decision.
“In the first opening ‘finale’ of Marc’s show, Gigi’s heel broke,” she explained.
“If you see images from the first passage she has thigh-high silver socks and white leather mules”.
“There wasn’t much we could do,” she continued.
“Other than either fake a non-broken heel or rip off her socks and shoes and send her out barefoot, which we did, and it was all the more natural for it.”
“Gigi and all the people from the show thank you all so much for being so patient, beautiful and inspiring,” she added.
Tbh, if it were never explained, I would have never even thought twice about it. Gigi completely pulled off walking the runway in her bare feet.
Gigi also took to Instagram, sharing a clip of herself walking the runway.
“Walking in a dream,” she wrote . “Thank you so much for including me in one of the most incredible shows I’ve ever seen @marcjacobs (sometimes a lil wardrobe malfunction can lead to the magic moments).”
The designer, Marc Jacobs, left a comment detailing how happy he was with the situation.
“What happened with your improv due to a wardrobe malfunction is a testament to your character. Being true to yourself,” he wrote on her Instagram post.
“Able to rise to any occasion and bring joy regardless of the situation.”
“I feel so grateful that this mistake occurred and that it fell into your arms (or feet as the case may be). It’s not often one has the great pleasure of experiencing an “honest” moment. Thank you for being the best Gigi I know and sharing yourself with me and the audience!”
I rest my case. Gigi Hadid is the queen of handling wardrobe malfunctions.

Supermodel, on-again off-again girlfriend of The Weeknd, and all around badass lady Bella Hadid struts on the runway like she owns it.
That’s even when she goes through the same kind of misfortune by way of malfunction as her sister.
While on the runway last year, Bella had a tube top dress slide down JUST a little bit too far.
It slid down enough to cause a partial nip-slip situation, which is definitely not ideal for a big runway with thousands of eyes on you.
Obviously, Bella handled it.
She kept walking down that runway like the pro she is and didn’t seem bothered in the least by the game of peekaboo her dress was playing.
That wasn’t the first time she’d had to think fast.
A year before that, she’d almost flashed an entire audience of people from the runway when her skirt wouldn’t stay closed.
Again, handled with grace and style.
Bella walked the runway with her hands smoothly holding her skirt in place, not showing it on her face or in her walk at all.
Those Hadid sisters know how to maintain professionalism.
