Gwyneth Paltrow isn’t getting any luck this week. Alongside showing up to court as she’s accused of injuring a skier she is reported to have crashed into — before abandoning him — the 50-year-old is now getting mocked for how she looks in court.

Gwyneth is facing legal heat after a 2016 skiing trip to Deer Valley Resort in Park City, UT. Sanderson. Optometrist, Terry Sanderson, claims that the actress crashed into him, caused major injury, then just skied off!

Terry claims to have suffered “permanent traumatic brain injury, 4 broken ribs, pain, suffering, loss of enjoyment of life,” per Fox News .

The statement continues, alleging that Paltrow “got up, turned and skied away, leaving Sanderson stunned, lying in the snow, seriously injured.”

The resort where the alleged incident takes place does have rules to protect everyone skiing. You must “stop at the scene and render reasonable assistance” if needed, something Gwyneth is clearly being accused of not doing!
Sued For $300,000
Retired healthcare worker Terry is suing Gwyneth for $300,000, although she is counter-suing with a claim of her own.

Meanwhile, a legal expert weighing in on the case has told Fox:
“We all have a duty to use reasonable care to avoid injuring others. And it’s defined really simply as what would a reasonably careful person do in a similar situation.”
