Kaley Cuoco Admits Her First Marriage Happened Too Quickly

Nothing is sweet about Kaley Cuoco's former marriage to professional tennis player, Ryan Sweeting.

The Flight Attendant star recently admitted in an interview with Variety what we already knew to be true: "We got married in, like, six seconds."

Come see what else she had to say, including her thoughts on her recent Golden Globe nomination!

The sky's the limit lately for Kaley Cuoco.

The actress and producer is still reeling from her first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy TV Series for her performance in The Flight Attendant.

The show was also nominated for Best Musical/Comedy Series.

The actress even shared the sweet moment where she learned that she was nominated on Instagram.

"Thank you @goldenglobes #hfpa I will never ever forget this moment and I can’t stop crying ...," she wrote, alongside a video of her overcome with emotion. "so proud of my entire team @flightattendantonmax !!!!! YES NORMAN!"

The only thing that was a bit odd about the nomination is that a press outlet called her a newcomer.

"And I laughed!” Cuoco said in a recent interview with Variety.

“I was talking to my two managers and I go, ‘You guys, they just called me a newcomer.’ I go, ‘I’ve been here for 30 years.’”

This much is true, as the star has been acting since she was young.

She even played a young Ellen DeGeneres on the sitcom Ellen back in 1996.

Before this, she had played Barbie in a commercial when she was just five years old and did another commercial for Oscar Mayer.

She wouldn't hit a higher level of fame until she starred as Bridget Erin "Beach" Hennessy on *8 Simple Rules*.

But ask any fan of the star and her performance as Penny on The Big Bang Theory is sure to come to mind.

She played the loveable role for 12 seasons.

Throughout her past thirty years in Hollywood, we've also seen her go through some highs and lows in the love department.

One of those particular lows was her whirlwind marriage to tennis player, Ryan Sweeting.

The former pair had gotten engaged after only three months of dating.

When they got hitched months later, it was during a New Year's Eve ceremony.

While Kaley looked stunning in her unconventional pink wedding gown, nothing was rosy about the fact that they got divorced only 21 months later.

Since then, the actress hasn't been afraid to air out her grievances.

"I honestly thought I wouldn't get married again," Cuoco revealed in a May 2018 interview with *Cosmopolitan*.

"My ex ruined that word for me. I married someone the first time who completely changed," she said.

She went on to say that Ryan wasn't the same person that she had originally met.

"And that wasn't my fault — that was his. I knew how much I had to give and how much I wanted to receive."

She even reflected on her ex during her recent interview with Variety.

She began by saying that she was going through the divorce while on The Big Bang Theory.

“We got married in, like, six seconds," she said.

Hey, at least she's honest! After scrubbing every part of him out of her life — including replacing the tattoo she got for him — Kaley soon found love again.

This is with her current husband, Karl Cook.

"I knew I just had to be patient," she told *Cosmopolitan*.

"I had to go through a lot of things, but it brought me to Karl."

With an incredible marriage, a house full of animals (aka heaven), and a potential Golden Globe award on the horizon, we're so happy Kaley found the happiness that she deserves.
