A mother’s love runs deep.
They will do anything for their child , like stay up all night with them when they’re sick, make all the phone calls they’re scared to make, and send them care packages while they’re away.

It sounds strange, but this story of a woman doing that is incredibly touching.
Not too many people can say that they watched their mother give birth.
Even fewer can say that their mother gave birth to their child. Jeff Hauck can.
After he and his wife, Cambria, got married in 2012, they learned about their infertility issues, according to People .
For instance, it took them four years of fertility treatments before they were able to welcome their first children — twin girls Vera and Ayva — with IVF.
Years later, they fertilized seven embryos and used IVF again to welcome twin sons, Diesel and Luca.
After two healthy pregnancies, tragedy struck two hours after the twin sons were born.
Cambria began experiencing “severe pain and cramping” and felt “gushes of blood.” Doctors determined that she was hemorrhaging, leaving Cambria and her husband with the difficult decision to have a hysterectomy.
This is the surgical removal of the uterus, which also usually includes the cervix.
Ultimately, that was what the couple decided to do. “That was a hard choice for us,” Cambria told People . This sadly left them wondering if they would be able to use the rest of their embryos.
“We wanted to give them all a chance at life,” she said.
It was only a month later that Jeff’s mother, Nancy, brought up the idea of being their surrogate. It was a lovely thought, but no one thought it was possible because of Nancy’s age.
Much to everyone’s surprise, though, a fertility specialist said that the idea was possible.
So on February 17th, the embryo transfer took place. Six days later, Nancy took a pregnancy test that came back positive. “At this point, we all knew that this was meant to be,” Cambria said.
This past week, Nancy gave birth to her grandchild.
“How many people get to watch their mom give birth?” Jeff said, calling the experience a “beautiful moment.” He said that being in the delivery room while his mother gave birth wasn’t awkward.
Nancy’s labor went on for nine hours.
“Everything went perfectly and we are feeling so blessed to have her in our family,” Nancy said. She also said that she is “facing new emotions of having a baby, but not bringing the baby home with me afterwards.”
“It is a mix of deep gratitude and some sadness from the separation.”
Her son and his wife did honor Nancy in a sweet way, though, by naming her Hannah. Jeff explained that his mother had woken up in the middle of the night soon after the pregnancy test and heard a little voice that said, ‘My name is Hannah.’ “
Nancy found it really special that she knew the baby was a girl without any testing.
After looking up the name they discovered that the name Nancy comes from Hannah. “They both mean grace.” It was all meant to be!
Now that Nancy is recovering, Jeff and Cambria are adjusting to being a family of five.
Luckily for them, this is what they always wanted. “We always had in our mind that we wanted four to six — whatever the Lord would bless us with, is what we would always say,” said Cambria.
