Gal Gadot made quite an impression on the world after starring in and redefining Wonder Woman. But if you can believe it, she is actually 10x cooler in real life.

She may have been a strong female lead on the big screen but after some further investigating, it turns out that she is just as powerful when the cameras aren't rolling.

She describes he personal style as "casual."

When asked by The Kit what her proudest achievement is, she said:

“My daughter, Alma. She’s three and a half years old and she’s the best thing ever. She’s the most important thing in my life.”

Her beauty motto is "less is more."

This is unsurprising to major fans, as anyone who has seen her Instagram or has seen her on the red carpet, knows that this star likes to keep it natural and casual.

She also talks about the importance of washing your face before bed.

Her biggest beauty tip is to drink water.

“I drink a lot of water. Israel is really hot and you get dehydrated in a heartbeat. My mother would always say, ‘Gal, did you drink enough today?’ It doesn’t matter how many creams you wear, if you’re dehydrated, nothing’s going to help," she said to The Kit.

Unlike the majority of Hollywood stars, she never planned on becoming an actress. She happened upon it by chance, and ended up really enjoying it.

Considering the kind of fame that she has experienced with this decision, it is safe to say that she made the right choice.

She met her husband, Israeli businessman Yaron Varsano, at a party in the desert.

"We met at a party in the desert in Israel... He would say I liked him first but I'd rather say he liked me first," she revealed to Vogue.

Her husband knew by their second date that he was going to marry her.

"He actually told me in our second date that he is going to propose in two years and he did," she told Vogue.

That is so romantic!

Before landing the role of *Wonder Woman*, Gal did not know much about her.

But it's clear that she did her research, or is just very good at her job because she delivered the role of Wonder Woman to us on a silver platter.

When asked by a fan on Twitter how it feels to be such a huge role model as Wonder Woman, Gal replied:

"It feels great! Being a mother, it’s very important that #WonderWoman comes back to life, we need more female superheros."

She loved living in Israel.

“I will always feel foreign in L.A.,” she told Vogue.

“You know what I like about home in Israel? Everything is five minutes away. Five minutes walking to the gelato place, five minutes to the beach, five minutes to our cousins’ house. And all of our neighbors are our friends.”

She revealed that when she works out, she actually likes to listen to The Matrix soundtrack to get her pumped up!

Her training for Wonder Woman must have been super intense for her to get into superhero shape.

She was Miss Universe when she was a teenager.

"I was very young, I was 18/19 back then. I never thought I'd win the Miss Israel pageant - I just went because I had some time before my service in the Army," she told Glamour.

She enjoys using social media.

She explained that the reason why she likes it, unlike other celebrities who can't stand it, is because she can control the content.

Paparazzi photos are unpleasant to hear, but social media changes the way people can see her.

Before becoming an actress, she was apart of the Israeli military.

"The army wasn't that difficult for me. The military gave me good training for Hollywood," she told Fashion Magazine.

"In Israel serving is part of being an Israeli. You've got to give back to the state. You give two or three years, and it's not about you. You give your freedom away. You learn discipline and respect."

While she was apart of the Israeli army, she taught gymnastics to the other soldiers to help get them in shape.
