Jamie Lynn Spears' Mystical Experience As She Films 'Zoey 102'!

On Monday, the 31-year-old actress, singer, and younger sister of Britney Spears shared a carousel of photos on Instagram taken on the set, giving her 2.2 million followers a behind-the-scenes look at the upcoming movie.

Along with the photos, she posted a heartfelt message saying, “Bittersweet feels. I truly love all of these humans,” referring to the film’s cast and crew.

“The NEW ERA of ZOEY would not exist without each and every person doing their part to create this magical experience, including our amazing fans,” she continued.

Lamenting the fact that Instagram only allows 10 pics in a carousel post, she concluded, “gonna need wayyyy more then 10 photos to include all of these wonderful people tho😭 #ZOEY102”

The first pic shows Jamie carrying her daughter, Ivey, as she makes her way down the stairs alongside her mother, Lynne.

There’s also a photo of her sitting beside her co-star, Jack Salvatore, with the other cast and crew members behind them.

Jamie’s other daughter, Maddie, also makes an appearance in the carousel, sitting on the makeup chair with her younger sister on her lap.

In another pic, she’s sitting beside Owen Thiele, who’s flashing the peace sign for the camera. There’s also an image of first assistant director, Kyle LeMire, speaking to the crew.

The Sweet Magnolias star is all bundled up in a hot-pink coat while sitting alongside executive producer, Alexis Fisher, and writers, Monica Sherer and Madeline Whitby, in another slide.

Elsewhere in the carousel are more pics of the crew and a fun video of the cast as they turn the set into a fashion runway.

In the Paramount+ film, Jamie reprises her role as Zoey Brooks, a former student at the fictional boarding school, Pacific Coast Academy. Other original cast members also return as her fellow alumni reuniting for a wedding.

The cast and crew are currently filming in North Carolina.

The actress, who’s also an executive producer of the movie, expressed excitement over the project in a statement obtained by Variety.

“I’m beyond thrilled to be back alongside my PCA family and continue the story of Zoey and all the characters fans know and love,” her statement said.

“As an executive producer, it's been an exciting opportunity to work with such incredible talent as well as Paramount+ and Nickelodeon,” she added.

Zoey 101, the original series, ran for four seasons from 2005 to 2008 and followed the story of Zoey as she attended the formerly all-boys Pacific Coast Academy.

The series was a hit during its time and won several awards as well before its cancellation after a three-year run.

Last month, Jamie teased the reboot in an Instagram post showing a director’s chair with “Zoey” written on it. On the chair is a copy of the script, and in the second slide are more chairs with the names of the other characters.

There is no release date yet, but Paramount+ said the movie will premiere later in 2023.
