After experiencing a serious medical problem earlier this week, "The King," Jerry Lawler appears to be recovering. According to a report from Action News 5 on Tuesday, the 73-year-old underwent surgery at a Florida hospital following a stroke.

He Was Found Outside His House

Dave Meltzer, of the Wrestling Observer, claimed later on that Lawler had experienced a blood clot on the right side of his brain and not a stroke. Before being taken to the hospital, Jerry was reportedly found lying face down outside his house.

He Had An Emergency Surgery

After the surgery, Meltzer continued, Lawler could not speak and had no feeling in his right side. Meanwhile, Dutch Mantell has claimed that Lawler is "in good condition." He is additionally anticipated to make a recovery.

11 Years Of Experiencing Serious Medical Issues

Over the past 11 years, Lawler has unfortunately experienced several serious medical incidents. The legendary wrestler from Memphis suffered a heart attack in September 2012 while watching a live WWE Raw episode.

Stroke Hit Again In 2018

He had his first stroke six years later, in 2018, which put him in the intensive care unit and rendered him speechless for three days. He later recovered completely.
