Benjamin Keough’s Graceland Grave Being Moved To Make Room For Lisa Marie Presley's Body

An insider shared that the Graceland grave of Benjamin was being moved to make room for his mother. Presley's representative confirmed on Thursday that the grave was being slightly moved.

Some pictures gotten by TMZ showed the late Now What singer's grave being prepared next to Benjamin's. The Presley family tombs are all around the backyard fountain at the Memphis Tennessee mansion. On Tuesday, work started at the memorial site. However, other changes are expected in preparation. The preparations are for Sunday's public memorial service in honor of Lisa Marie. 

Lisa Marie, 54, died after suffering cardiac arrest on January 12th. The singer was taken to West Hills Hospital and Medical Center. She was then placed on life support. However, after the Lights out singer's family signed a do-not-resuscitate order, she was taken off life support.

Lisa Marie's death was announced to the public by her 77-year-old mother, Priscilla Presley. The tragic news was shared only a few days after Priscilla attended the 2023 Golden Globes with Lisa Marie.

The Storm & Grace singer's daughter, Riley Keough, expressed her, her siblings, and her grandmother's gratitude for everyone's support. Lisa Marie shared Benjamin and Riley with her ex-husband Danny Keough. She also shared twins, Harper and Finley with ex-husband Michael Lockwood. 

Benjamin Storm Keough was born on October 21, 1992, in Florida. He was popularly known as the grandson of the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley. Although Elvis died in 1977, his legacy lived on and his looks were reflected in Benjamin.

In 2020, Lisa Marie told TMZ that he had an uncanny resemblance to her father. Benjamin kept his personal life private although he came from a famous family. Benjamin worked as a musician, and actor and also did voice work for the animated short Rod & Barry. In 2005, he appeared in the documentary Elvis and The Presleys. The documentary was where the late Elvis' family and friends talked about happy memories they had of him. 

On July 2020, it was announced that Benjamin died at the age of 27. At that time, Lisa Marie's representative shared she was heartbroken and beyond devastated. The rep also added that the singer was trying to stay strong for her three daughters. According to TMZ, it was revealed that he died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Benjamin was the son of singer Lisa Marie and her first husband Danny Keough. He also has a younger sister, Riley. Lisa Marie married Michael Lockwood from 2006 to 2016. They had twins, Harper and Finley who are Benjamin's step-siblings.
