Eminem is once again proving that he's a literal Rap God, this as he tops the YouTube rapper watches for 2022. The Real Slim Shady's videos raked in 5 billion views last year - meanwhile, Eminem himself has over 54 million subscribers on the platform.

Eminem only shared 140 videos last year, but it's the views that count. The Missouri native likely gained views after his live performance at last year's Super Bowl Halftime show, where he was joined by legendary rapper Snoop Dogg and singer Mary J. Blige.

Most-Viewed YouTube Channels

Eminem himself does not feature on 2022's most-viewed YouTube channels, although the likes of Wiz Khalifa and T-Series do. The 8 Mile star is also not one to regularly give interviews, however he has, on select occasions, discussed his career.

Opening Up On Career

In 2022, Eminem spoke to XXL, revealing:

"Before I signed to Dr. Dre and Interscope, I remember having this conversation with Royce [5'9"]. We had somebody at this hip-hop label who said they wanted to sign me when I was working with the Bass Brothers. I made three or four songs, and we gave it to this guy, and found out that he worked in the mail room and he wasn't really who he said he was."

His Favorite Rappers

Eminem is known for shading others rappers - and for his ongoing feud with Ohio-born rapper Machine Gun Kelly.

He has, however, listed his favorites. The Not Afraid hitmaker is a fan of Tupac Shakur, Lil Wayne, Kendrick Lamar, Big Daddy Kane, and The Notorious B.I.G.

Addiction Battles

Much of Eminem's music, including his Recovery album has touched on his battles with substance abuse, in particular, painkillers.

"My addiction didn't start in my early days when I was coming up. We used to drink 40s on the porch and just battle rap each other. My drug usage started at the beginning of that first album. I didn't take anything hard until I got famous," Em also told XXL, adding that he was "experimenting."

Proud Of Hailie

Eminem further remains known for including daughter Hailie Scott in his music. The Michigan State University graduate is now a popular influencer and is signed to PUMA. She is hugely popular on TikTok and just turned 26.

Fans Love Him

Eminem keeps a low profile, but his fans are always there for him. He is followed by over 37 million on Instagram.

The account, which doesn't follow anyone, is kept tabs on by socialite Paris Hilton, actress Kate Beckinsale, and singer Rihanna.
