Actress Kristen Bell is coming clean to her kids about a "drug" she took for her birthday, and she revealed how the tell-all went on Jimmy Kimmel Live!

The doting mom of two was honest with her babies when she took hallucinogenics on her 40th birthday.
Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the Forgetting Sarah Marshall actress said,
"We've always been really honest with our kids and I had never really done any drugs and I wanted to try mushrooms for my 40th birthday. So my husband got them for me and I tried it. And we told our kids about it."
We're amazed at this level of honesty from the actress.
Things turned interesting as one of the girls told Kristen's mom, who is much more conservative.
According to the actress, she overheard the little bird telling her mom and was immediately worried about her mom's reaction to the news.
"I overheard my daughter talking to my mom, to grandma, going, 'So anyway, so mom really wanted to try mushrooms, so'. And I just walked by, and I was like, 'Uh-oh, uh-oh, uh-oh.' For some reason, I'm more worried about telling my mom that than telling my daughter."
Bell also stated how she was sure her daughters perfectly understood what she meant by "mushrooms" because their dad, who's in recovery, has come clean to the kids about the effects of alcohol and drugs on the body, and she has no problem with his level of honesty.
"He has committed to being very involved in our kids' lives and very involved in our marriage. He's a real go-getter. I got no complaints."
Bell married Dax Shepard in October 2013, a day she described as the "easiest day" of her life, and the couple is still waxing strong after nine years in the game.
The Frozen actress also recently revealed how her children keep her in check after a long day at work.
She joked at the insults she received from them quickly and how they helped her snap back to reality.
"The number of insults that they can hurl at me in a very short period. It really brings me back down to earth. I come home from a day like today - which is pretty elegant and fancy - and we're talking about work, and I've had my makeup, but they will just they'll pull the rug out from under you so quickly."
Bell even thinks her autobiography title would be My Kids Keep Me Grounded.
