Alicia Silverstone, an icon and living legend, bared her body and posed naked in support of a good cause. The 46-year-old Clueless star teamed up with PETA for a new campaign that highlights the importance of leather alternatives.
Displaying her body in a "Birth of Venus" pose with her sensitive parts covered, the actress looked incredibly stunning and radiant for the "prickly" photoshoot.

In the PETA poster, Silverstone wore nothing but vegan leather boots while standing in the middle of a cactus field. Her signature blonde locks were parted to one side and the makeup on her face was fresh and minimal. One hand covered her breasts while the other covered her bottom part; her stance reminiscent of The Birth of Venus painting.
She posed with grace, her skin looked radiant, and her figure looked amazing!
"Don't be a prick. Wear vegan," the printed text says. "Buy cactus, mushroom, or apple leather instead!"
"I never, ever, get naked in TV, in film, nothin', never, nope—but I've done it for PETA because that's how much it matters to me,” the actress said on a BTS clip of the shoot.
In the video, she explains how the production of leather negatively affects the environment, and later highlights the benefits of using plant-based leather alternatives. She details that the earth can no longer handle the number of resources, water, food, oil, and energy that goes into making leather.
An animal lover and environmental activist, Alicia has been a vegan since 1999. She religiously eats a plant-based diet and has even penned The Kind Diet, a book that guides readers to lose weight, eat healthily, and save the world. Even her 11-year-old son, Bear, has also been raised as a vegan.
While she is passionate about living sustainably, Alicia has previously admitted that she is not perfect. "I have hiccups too, I would say I’m 99.9% vegan. But I still consider myself a vegan warrior," she said in an interview.
The attention-grabbing PETA campaign was recently unveiled in New York's Times Square. A huge billboard of Alicia's nude body is displayed at the intersection of 40th Street and Eighth Avenue ahead of the city's holiday events.
Silverstone further explained that her ultimate goal is to get these alternatives into the high fashion runways. “My dream is to get these earth-friendly, vegan materials into the hands of the greatest designers,” she said. “I’d rather go naked than wear animals.”
