Kourtney Kardashian has a lot to be thankful for this year.

She wed her longtime love, Travis Barker, in not one but two wedding ceremonies. This makes her stepmom to Travis' kids. Meanwhile, Travis has taken on the stepdad role to Kourtney's children, Mason, Penelope, and Reign, whom she shares with her ex, Scott Disick.

Being a blended family certainly comes with some growing pains. These moments were captured on the season finale of The Kardashians.

Kourtney and Travis Currently Live Apart

"We're in the place where we're figuring out how to blend our households and our kids, and what life looks like now," Kourtney said on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast with Amanda Hirsch. Currently, they live in separate homes about a block apart from each other.

They are working on blending the households for now, which includes a solid routine. "When the kids are at their dad's house, I stay at his house, and there are still nights when we'll stay at each other's houses in between," she explained.

Sunday Dinner As A Family

The blended family's Sunday dinner tradition was captured on the season finale of The Kardashians at Kourtney's home.

Together, the couple shares a lot of stepchildren. This includes Mason, 12, Penelope, 10, and Reign, 7 on Kourtney's side. Meanwhile, Travis has his stepdaughter Atiana, 23, son Landon, 18, and daughter Alabama, 16.

The family dinner took place at Kourtney's home. "Where am I sitting?" Travis asked as he approached the table. "Your usual spot, like at your house," she said, adding that she chose the same seats as they do at Travis' home.

Kourtney Expressed How Thankful She Is

"Our family's expanding and growing and we have so much to be thankful for," Kourtney said in the confessional, while the show shared clips of the family eating together.

She went on to say that she loves the idea of a blended family. For her, she's all about "the more kids, the merrier." This must come from her own background of being a part of her blended family. Her mother, Kris Jenner, remarried after divorcing her father, Robert Kardashian, and went on to have two more children, Kendall and Kylie.

More People To Love

In keeping with family tradition, she had everyone go around the table and share the "peaks" and "pits" of their day. One unsaid "pit" was definitely Mason being absent, as he had skipped the dinner since friends were over.

After everyone shared their news, Kourtney expressed gratitude for her family once again.

"I just think it's about two families joining together in this true love fairytale."
