Sir David Attenborough has one of the most iconic voices in the world. Not only do we associate his dulcet tones with the very idea of nature and nature documentaries at this point, but he has become a respected voice in the areas of environmentalism and conservatism as well — and for good reason!

Following the release of the recent Frozen Planet II, many are speaking out about David's message at the end of the program.

David's message at the end of 'Frozen Planet II' was emotional.

"Recently, at COP26, 120 nations came together in an effort to limit global warming," David says in the clip. "To stand any chance of saving what remains of our frozen planet and saving ourselves from the devastation consequences of this loss, we must stick to this commitment."

"If you can do something about it just do it," adds another expert from the show. "Instead of just thinking about it."

David echoes this statement, adding, "We can do it. It's in our power to do it. We can do it. We must do it. Then there will be a future for the planet."

David then stands and walks away from his seat in a poignant moment.

Fans have been reacting to this emotional plea.

"Just wept watching #FrozenPlanet2 - heartbreaking. Should be compulsory viewing for every single politician, leader and policy maker. As Sir David Attenborough said 'We CAN do it. We MUST do it'. For the sake of our beautiful planet, we have to act NOW and all do our bit," tweeted one fan.

"This must be the first time I've seen Sir David this emotional in a long time," shared one comment on YouTube.

"Tonight’s #FrozenPlanet2 has brought me to tears. We really don’t deserve our world. Total respect to everyone involved in making this series and to all the scientists researching and raising #ClimateEmergency awareness, watching this has been humbling," tweeted one fan.
