We live in the age of prequels, sequels, and reboots. Sometimes it can be hard to remember which beloved movies are standing alone and which ones are getting brought back for new audiences.
As the holiday season approaches, we're reminded that the beloved Christmas movie A Christmas Story is getting a new sequel by the first trailer dropping.
Who doesn't love Peter Billingsley as little Ralphie telling us about one of the most notable Christmases of his childhood, where all he wanted Santa to bring him was a Red Ryder BB gun? It's a classic for a reason, and I watch it every single year!
According to IMDB, the sequel "follows Ralphie, now adult, who returns to the house on Cleveland street to give his kids a magical Christmas like the one he had as a child, reconnecting with childhood friends, and reconciling the passing of his Old Man."
