On Monday, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine was accused of not only having an affair on his beautiful wife and the mother of his children, Behati Prinsloo, but of trying to name his future child after his mistress — it was a wild day, to say the least.

Now, the husband and father is speaking out and giving his side of the story.

Last Thursday, former Victoria's Secret model Behati Prinsloo announced she was expecting baby #3 with her husband, Adam Levine.

Of course, Adam is the frontman of Maroon 5, a band almost as controversial as the story I'm about to share.

As pretty much everyone knows — Adam, 43, and Behati, 33, have been married since 2014 and have two children together in addition to the third on the way.

So when Instagram model Sumner Stroh came out of the woodwork and shared that not only had she had an affair with Adam but that he wants to name is future SON after her, fans nearly lost their minds.

On Monday, Sumner released a TikTok in which she explained that she and Adam had a year-long affair that had ended months ago.

In her TikTok, Sumner says she was “having an affair with a man who’s married to Victoria’s Secret model... I was young, I was naive. And I mean, quite frankly, I feel exploited. I wasn’t in the scene like I am now. So I was definitely very easily manipulated.”

"Adam and I were seeing each other for about a year, after I stopped talking to him over a period of months, this is how he came back into my life."

She then shows screenshots of DM's she received from the singer, asking if he could name his future child after her.

Sadly, I'm not kidding about that.

The full DM reads: “Ok serious question. I’m having another baby and if it’s w [sic] boy I really wanna name it Sumner. You ok with that? DEAD serious.”

He followed up the message with a shrugging emoji, to make matters even worse.

As to why she's sharing this information, Sumner claims that she sent the screenshots to friends she thought she could trust, but learned that someone had tried to sell the story to the press.

The video has since gone viral and now, the husband and father of two (soon to be 3!) is speaking out.

Posting on his Instagram story, the singer said: "I used poor judgment in speaking with anyone other than my wife in ANY kind of flirtatious manner. I did not have an affair, nevertheless, I crossed the line during a regrettable period of my life."

"In certain instances it became inappropriate. I have addressed that and taken proactive steps to remedy this with my family."

"My wife and my family is all I care about in this world. To be this naive and stupid enough to risk the only thing that truly matters to me was the greatest mistake I could ever make," he continued.

"I will never make it again. I take full responsibility. We will get through it and we will get through it together."

Yikes!
