Often times the hosts for award shows are simply… not funny. However, Saturday Night Live veteran Keenan Thompson is the rare exception. In fact, the actor and comedian came out swinging with an all too timely and accurate joke about the dating age range of Leonardo DiCaprio that made the Emmy’s audience cringe laugh.
And of course, the joke has already gone viral.

As you most likely know by now, Leonardo DiCaprio reportedly split from her girlfriend just a few short weeks after she turned 25.
In fact, Leonardo has never publically dated a woman older than a quarter century.
I’m serious — there are graphs to prove it and everything.
So naturally, this type of shallow Hollywood content was going to get woven into a joke or two at the Emmys.
While mentioning Euphoria star Zendaya, host Keenan Thompson made sure to note the actress’s age.
“Zendaya just turned 26, happy birthday. 26 is a weird age in Hollywood. Young enough to play a high school student, but too old to date Leonardo DiCaprio,” he joked.
Zendaya covered her face from laughter while the actors around her were visibly trying not to laugh out loud.
To be fair, I’m totally living for this level of shade.
And if Leo ever finds out, maybe he should consider dating women older than his 1997 film Titanic .
