Having been open about his medical history in the past, rock singer and frontman and band Black Sabbath Ozzy Osbourne has a more positive update after undergoing a 'major surgery'.
It was clearly a point of stress for both he and his family, but now that it's fine and he's well into recovering, it looks like he'll be bouncing back flawlessly!
He and his wife, Sharon Osbourne, had been public about his various health struggles. In recent years, he'd been diagnosed with COVID-19, a form of Parkinson's disease called PARK2, and neck pain stemming from a motorcycle accident in 2003.
Back in May, the musical legend told Classic Rock Magazine that he was "waiting on" another surgery for his neck, making it likely that this was the surgery they were referring to.
"I can’t walk properly these days," he said, "I have physical therapy every morning. I am somewhat better, but nowhere near as much as I want to be to go back on the road."
Both he and Sharon posted positive messages about the operation and his recovery on social media.
Now, we have a more in-depth update from the man himself as he attended San Diego Comic-Con.
When speaking to ET, he looked energetic and healthy, seeming to have recovered well. "It's great, it's great, I like to see people, you know," he explained, "That's been the hardest thing of the past three years, because I've been trying to recover from my surgery."
It certainly is, but he seems to be doing good work of it and is excited to enter the public eye again.
Osbourne was at Comic-Con to promote the comic book he helped make with artist Todd McFarlane that will accompany his upcoming album, Patient Number 9, that'll release September 9.
