Actress and blonde bombshell Rebel Wilson is breaking her silence after it was reported that she was forced into coming out and debuting her relationship with her girlfriend, Ramona Agruma.

For members of the LGBTQ+ community, coming out is a deeply personal decision, regardless of whether you're in the public eye or not. When Rebel's fans learned the actress had been given a deadline to announce she was dating a woman, they were understandably hurt and unhappy.

On Thursday, fans were overjoyed when Rebel Wilson announced she was dating fashion designer and fellow blonde bombshell Ramona Agruma.

Posting a sweet selfie alongside her love, Rebel called Ramona her "Disney Princess" and yes, I did cry when I first read it.

Much to the surprise of fans, it seems Ramona has been hiding in plain sight for a while now.

As reported by Page Six, Ramona accompanied the Senior Year actress to the 2022 Vanity Fair Oscars party in March before attending Operation Smile’s annual Park City Ski Challenge charity event in Utah in April together.

After Rebel's post, a writer from the Sydney Morning Herald wrote an article explaining that the news outlet was planning on outing the relationship and gave Rebel and her team two days to comment before it was published.

“Wilson opted to gazump the story, posting about her new ‘Disney Princess’,” Andrew Hornery wrote.

Fans of Rebel immediately attacked the publication and accused them of blackmailing Rebel into coming out and expressed anger at how the situation had been handled.

In a statement released on Sunday, Sydney Morning Herald editor Bevan Shields denied that the paper “outed” the Bridesmaids star.

"Our weekly Private Sydney celebrity column last week asked Wilson if she wished to comment about her new partner. We would have asked the same questions had Wilson’s new partner been a man," he wrote.

"To say that the Herald 'outed' Wilson is wrong."

Now, Rebel is breaking her silence about the behind-the-scenes drama.

In a reply tweet from journalist Kate Doak, Rebel thanked fans for the kind words and said it was "a very hard situation" but that she's "trying to handle it with grace."

We're so proud of you, Rebel!
