Yellowjackets star Melanie Lynskey took home the Critics Choice Award on Sunday night for Best Drama Series. After accepting her award, the actress gave a heartfelt speech thanking her nanny for looking after her three-year-old daughter while she was working long hours on the show.
Fans have been applauding Lynskey for giving credit where credit is due and acknowledging that it usually takes an army to raise a child — especially if you're a working mom!
The actress gave an acceptance speech that has garnered a ton of applause online. After accepting her award, she thanked her family, and then she gave a shout-out to her nanny who looks after her three-year-old daughter, whom she shares with her husband Jason Ritter.
Shortly after the premiere of Yellowjackets, the 44-year-old took to Twitter to hit back at trolls for criticizing her body and assured fans that she is a perfectly healthy individual and that there should be no cause for concern over her weight.
"Most egregious are the 'I care about her health! People… you don’t see me on my Peleton! You don’t see me running through the park with my child. Skinny does not always equal healthy," she penned.
Anyway, fans are once again rallying behind the Two and a Half Men actress for giving credit to and publicly acknowledging her family's nanny who looked after her daughter and accommodated Lynskey's busy work schedule.
"She's with my child and my child is safe and taken care of and she allows me to go and do my work," she said. "Thank you, Sally. I love you so much."
“I have the best advice for women in business,” Kardashian said in a recent profile of her famous family for Variety.
“You have to surround yourself with people that want to work," Kardashian went on. "Have a good work environment where everyone loves what they do because you have one life."
Kardashian's comments quickly sparked backlash online from people who thought her advice was "tone-deaf."
