After nearly three years of anticipation, the first trailer for Baz Luhrmann's Elvis was released on Thursday. As you can imagine, people have a lot of thoughts about the upcoming biopic because let's be real, there are few people as iconic as Elvis Presley, and Elvis fans are their own kind of intense.

Let's take a look at what the fans are getting all shook up about, shall we?

If you haven't seen the trailer, please take a few minutes to let it wash over you — I've already watched it six times.

The film, starring Austin Butler as Elvis and Tom Hanks as his controversial manager, Colonel Tom Parker, is set to be released in theaters on June 24.

The film's director, Baz Luhrmann, is known for lending his exceptional directorial skills to classic films such as "Moulin Rouge", "The Great Gatsby", "Romeo and Juliet" and "Australia."

Judging by this trailer, I think Elvis will be right up there with his most critically acclaimed films! Did you see the attention to detail in Austin's costumes and hairstyles?

Of course, not everyone is as thrilled with the trailer as I am.

To be fair, I had my hesitations at first, but I was totally blown away at what an amazing job the actors did.

Did I laugh when I saw Tom's prosthetics? Maybe. But to be fair, you cannot blame me!
