While the late Stan Lee was the master of cameos, he’s not the only celeb to pull them off successfully.
Plenty of celebs have made brief cameos, whether as themselves or actual characters. But some of these moments were so brief, you might have blinked and missed it.
If so, here’s a refresher with these 10+ celebrity cameos in famous movies that fans almost missed.
Daniel Craig in *Star Wars: The Force Awakens*
Star Wars meets James Bond !
Since both movies were filmed at the same studio, it made it easy for Craig to play a Stormtrooper who guarded Rey. But since Stormtroopers wear helmets, this wasn’t easily discovered.
Carrie Fisher in *Hook*
Fisher had a lot more to her resume than just acting. She was also a writer and script doctor who worked on movies such as Hook .
Due to this work, she appeared alongside George Lucas in the intro of the film as a couple who are lifted in the sky by Tinkerbell.
Dan Aykroyd in *Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom*
Since the Canadian comedian was a pal of director Steven Spielberg, he played one of the cargo plane escorts.
But since he had on a thick mustache and had an even thicker accent, he was hard to recognize.
Dustin Hoffman in *The Holiday*
Get this: Hoffman was never meant to be in the movie. He only made an appearance since he was around during the movie store scene.
His cameo had a cool layer since Miles picked up a copy of The Graduate and began to sing Simon and Garfunkel’s “Mrs. Robinson.”
Glenn Close in *Hook*
Carrie Fisher wasn’t the only celeb cameo in Hook . Glenn Close was also in it, with lines and all!
But since she had a full beard as Gutless the pirate, it was super hard for fans to tell.
Jimmy Buffett in *Jurassic World*
This cameo was everything.
Since Jimmy is good friends with the movie’s producer, Frank Marshall, he got to play a man who wears a peach-colored shirt.
Not only that, but he double-fists margaritas as he tries to dodge a pterodactyl attack.

Who knew Harry was a Star Wars fan? It was Mark Hamill who started the rumor that the singer appears as a stormtrooper around the 20- to 25-minute mark.

Take a good look since this will be the only time you see the billionaire flying commercial!
According to Cinema Blend , he got his cameo after helping the movie at the last minute by lending them a plane.

In addition to being the star of the movie, Jim pulled off such a “him” move by making a cameo as Fire Marshall Bill, his old character from In Living Color .
Since he was among other people in the scene, it’s hard to see him. But once you do, you LOL.

If you’re wondering why it was James’ hand in this scene and not Leo’s, it’s because he drew that charcoal of naked Kate Winslet.
In 2011, it even sold for $16,000 at a movie memorabilia auction by Premiere Props.

While you may not see The Daily Show host on screen, you will hear his South African voice .
He voiced “Griot,” the A.I. system that helped guide Martin Freeman’s character as he flew a virtual plane during the big battle scene.
Stephen Colbert in *The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug*
This was a HUGE honor for the talk show host, who is basically the biggest LOTR fan ever.
He played a hooded spy in Laketown. But since he had an eyepatch, it was hard to recognize him at first.
Matt Damon in *Thor: Ragnarok*
Marvel fans got a serious giggle when Loki dressed up as his father and staged a play called “The Tragedy of Loki.”

He wore a prosthetic nose and beer-belly to pull off a very believable southerner. Brad Pitt made a cameo as himself in the same film.

While the rumor of the Coldplay singer playing a zombie wasn’t true, he did, in fact, make an appearance on Shaun’s TV.
He played one of the supporters of a fictional charity called ZombAid in the movie’s final scene.

It’s fitting that a film that parodies the entire genre of teen-angst films would feature an original member of the Brat Pack .
Molly makes an appearance toward the end of the movie and calls Jake (Chris Evans) out for quoting Pretty in Pink .

I suppose I could have put down just about any Stan Lee cameo and it would have sufficed.
In Avengers: Age of Ultron , Stan has to be walked out of the bar after consuming Thor’s Asgardian liquor. It’s classic and hilarious.

One of the most memorable lines from Casper is when Dan Aykroyd says, “who ya gonna call? Someone else.”
It’s a brilliant throwback to Ghostbusters and a clever way to convey just how menacing the Ghostly Trio truly is.

David Bowie makes a short but incredibly impactful cameo appearance as Nikola Tesla.
In the film, it’s Tesla who designs the replicating machine for Robert Angier. Bowie does such a brilliant job that many fans missed him entirely their first go-around.
