You already know the Biebz is all about that jet-set life. But in 2014, he misled fans to believe that he bought himself a brand new private jet for Christmas.

The real truth? He rented the plane.

3. Paris Hilton

If there is one claim-to-fame Paris Hilton has always stood by, it’s that she invented the selfie. In 2017, she even tried to say that Britney Spears helped her.

As it turns out, the very first selfie was actually taken in 1839, according to The New York Times .

4. Soulja Boy

Oh, Soulja Boy. We’re sure he made lots of money for that one hit song, but it clearly wasn’t enough.

One eagle-eyed fan noticed that these are white pieces of paper with a $100 bill on top.

If you thought Queen Bey could do no wrong, think again. The singer has continuously gotten caught photoshopping her thighs in pictures.

The singer spun herself into a web of lies in 2014 after her song promotion royally failed.

Here’s what happened: She promised to release her new song if it got 100,000 retweets. When it got barely any, she scrambled.

Instead of just deleting the tweet and forgetting the promotion ever happened, she claimed that she was “hacked.”

It became pretty transparent to fans that she was lying.

Clearly, she was simply embarrassed that no one really cared about her releasing a new song.

A Twitter user proved that Britney didn’t cook the grilled Mexican corn. What she did do was do a quick Google search. Delicious.

His lie ended up going viral since a Twitter user, who was also always sitting in coach, spotted the “bigshot” rapper.

We imagine getting off that plane was a real walk of shame.

Lying clearly runs in the Kardashian family. Kris tried to get away with heavily photoshopping this photo of her and Gordon Ramsay.

But she was outed by Gordon himself when he shared his own non-edited picture of them.

Are you fur real, Bella?? In 2016, she shared this photo of her wearing what she claimed to be “fake fur.”

But since she had some internet-savvy fans, they were able to quickly discover that the jacket looked like the Alice & Olivia Tierra Striped Fur Jacket.

After checking out the product online, it was discovered that it’s actually made of genuine fur.

While Bella’s rep clarified to TMZ that Bella was told it was faux fur, the damage was done.

Surprisingly, she hasn’t deleted the photo.

The Biebz strikes again. This time, he made it seem like American rapper Birdman gifted him a $2 million car.

This lie was exposed when Birdman posted a picture with his car safe and sound in his garage.

She clearly wanted a little more junk in the trunk. But instead of working out her booty in the gym, she provided us with this hilariously bad Photoshop fail.

We really wish she was just trolling.

The reality star gave the world a collective eye roll in 2015 when she tried to say that her then-toddler, North, played with her phone and uploaded a bikini picture of her mother.

Sure, Kim, we totally believe you. NOT.

Her caption reeked of lies.

“North posted this while playing games on my phone. Not sure why or how she chose it but I’m not complaining! LOL I deleted it so now reposting it myself! #FBF from 10 years ago,” she wrote.

With so many people keeping up with the Kardashians, it’s hard for the family to get away with their lies.

Like this time a Twitter user called out Kylie for lying about trying cereal for the first time.

“Girl you lying,” they wrote in the since-deleted tweet. “You had cereal with milk on April 25, 2013 and posted it on Instagram.

He had receipts! Even Seth Rogen joined in on trolling the star.

“Wait till you try peanut butter and jam,” he wrote.

15. Kim Kardashian, again

Kim takes a lot of pictures on vacation (I mean, she once released a selfie book), but she didn’t take this one.

Soon after it was posted, Buzzfeed reported that she got the gorgeous pic from a wallpaper website.

Shay got into hot water when she was accused of “borrowing” photos from famous tourist sites in China .
