Everyone who uses the internet and knows about memes know that there’s one kind of haircut that’s synonymous with causing trouble.
The “can I speak to the manager” meme and haircut have gone viral over the last few years.

People know that the short, highlighted bob usually comes with a load of trouble.
While many of us joke and make fun of this kind of person, it turns out we’re becoming this meme.
New research from the American Pediatrics Association (APA) has indicated that moms are more likely to react and report their stress levels rising.
It’s pretty understandable why moms are stressed.
Many moms are in over their heads when it comes to parenting, running a household, and with many of them working outside the home, too.
One mom opened up on Reddit about why she relates to the “can me speak to the manager” meme so much.

Reddit user HerryPerdersWernd shared this post on the Beyond the Bump subreddit.
She said she never thought she’d become this kind of woman.

“When I was in high school and college I worked at McDonald’s and then at a grocery store. I could never understand how people could be SO rude. Everyone makes mistakes, it’s going to happen, and I always thought it was insane how much people could freak out over them.”
Now, as a mom, she gets it.

“But now… now that I have a 2 year old and an almost 2 month old, I’m starting to get it more and more. I still am not rude to anyone’s face but my inner dialogue has definitely changed.”
Things that she used to brush off, she just can’t anymore.

“Things I used to brush off no problem may now annoy me SO much, because even little things have turned into a huge inconvenience.”
She said she understands now why moms used to freak out on her.
“Messed up order at the drive thru? With no kids, whatever. When it’s messed up and your options are either wait in the huge drive thru line again or get 2 kids out of their car seats and go inside, it is now a big inconvenience!”
She even gave an example.

“I’m on maternity leave and my husband is back at work, so is just me. We took our Shark robot vacuum to a place to be fixed that closes at 5 and is only open during the week. When I finally went to go pick it up and brought it home, it had the same issue. It doesn’t even turn on so they must not have done anything, even though they said they replaced the battery and fixed the charger.”
Besides the cost, now she has to take the vacuum back to the store while lugging two kids with her AND pick it up again.
Another mom commented on the post and said she gets it.
“”I think there’s a difference between things being done incorrectly and things just taking too long or not being catered to you. I would be infuriated if I paid for a service, like getting a vacuum fixed, even if I didn’t have to lug kids around! That makes sense!”
Maybe all moms eventually become a meme, but, within reason.

When things are inconvenient to us, we will speak to the manager. I mean, you try shopping with screaming kids!
