When TikTok user Colleen Le learned that her boyfriend was suffering from chronic kidney disease, she didn’t hesitate and gladly offered herself up to be his donor.
It was a decision that she thought would unite them forever . Sadly, seven months after her boyfriend’s successful surgery, he broke up with her — stating that she only donated her kidney in an attempt to make herself look good .

So upon learning that her boyfriend at the time was suffering from chronic kidney disease, Colleen decided to do the brave thing and arranged to get tested to see if they were a match.
Miraculously, the doctors confirmed that she and her boyfriend were compatible.
Without a moment’s hesitation, Colleen decided to sign up for the surgery. The transplant was a complete success and overnight her boyfriend had a brand new lease on life.
You’d think that a selfless act such as this would inspire eternal gratitude in the recipient — especially since he also happened to be her boyfriend.
Sadly, not only was her then-boyfriend unmoved by her life-saving decision, but seven months after the surgery — he had the audacity to cheat on her.
Despite this despicable display of mistrust and emotional abuse, Colleen begrudgingly decided to take him back.
Then, three months after that — her boyfriend broke up with her. His rationale behind the decision was “If we are meant for each other, God will bring us back together in the end .”
From there, things only got worse for Colleen…
In a heated argument, Colleen’s ex-boyfriend sent her a message saying “You only donated your kidney to look good .” A statement which she admits not only broke her emotionally, but cut her to her core.
As Colleen explained, “I decided to get tested to see if we were a match because I didn’t want to watch him die.”
A desire to “look good” never entered into the equation. But once she began sharing her story on TikTok, the trolls started crawling out of the woodwork.
It wasn’t long before Colleen began receiving harassing text messages from her ex’s “friends.”
To add insult to injury, Colleen said that she received this message during her graduation party. As you can see from her reply, she doesn’t entertain fools nor the foolish things that they say.
Colleen’s videos have now gone on to be viewed millions of times.
Not surprisingly, Colleen’s followers have been very vocal on the subject. “Don’t worry girl he literally cannot live without you and he has to deal with that for the rest of his life,” one follower wrote .
“Take it back,” echoed another. “He don’t deserve it.”
What’s truly remarkable is that throughout this stressful and heartwrenching ordeal, Colleen has held her head high and maintained her dignity. And no matter where her ex goes in life, he will never be able to escape the fact that he owes his very existence to her.
