It’s hard to believe that it’s been six years since the shocking and devastating death of actor Paul Walker. Since then, friends, family, and fans have all shown their love and support both for Paul and for his daughter.
On November 30th, 2013, Paul Walker was involved in a fatal car crash.

Paul was just 40 years old, and he was survived by his 15 year old daughter, Meadow Walker.
Paul’s Fast and Furious co-star and close friend Vin Diesel has been public about his grief and mourning for Paul since his passing, and has made no secret that he views Meadow as part of his family.
He’s often talked about how much he loves and appreciates the entire Walker family.

He wrote on Instagram, “Meadow and the whole Walker family, will never know how much strength they have given me over the last five years. Hope to make you proud. All love, all ways.”
The feeling is clearly mutual.

Meadow recently shared this photograph of her with Vin’s 11 year old daughter, Hanina, captioned “With my angel.”
Vin responded by sharing this fan-made collage that combined the picture Meadow posted with a picture of Paul and Hanina.

Vin wrote, “It is remarkable to be a part of something that lives on and off screen, generation to generation… Your creativity inspires… Blessed and Grateful… Always.”
Meadow has just turned 21, and Vin shared an emotional post wishing her a happy birthday.

Alongside this photo of Meadow with Vin’s daughter, Vin wrote, “I could say that I am so proud of the person you are becoming… but the truth is I have always been proud of you.”
“Happy Birthday Meadow!” his post continued.

“I know it’s your 21st and you wanted to go big in Japan, but the family has a cake waiting for you when you get home, so hurry. Love you kid. Uncle Vin,” his post ended.
Of course, Meadow responded.

In a comment on the post, Meadow wrote, “thank you so much. I can’t wait to see you soon. And my little angels. Love you,” with a heart emoji.
This is so sweet! I’m glad these families have each other.
Meadow is currently spending her birthday in Japan.

She shared this photo on her Instagram captioned “21 in Tokyo” and appears to be in a photobooth that alters your features, which is very popular in Japan.
She shared an image of this delicious looking cake on her Instagram story.

She gets this delicious cake AND has one waiting for her at home with the Diesels?
That’s what I call a good birthday.
Meadow has been honoring her father in some inspiring ways.

She founded the Paul Walker Foundation.
It’s an organization that encourages younger generations to help protect the earth’s oceans and wildlife.
As part of the project, she encourages people to “do good” by spreading kindness in the world.

And she’s done this all at the young age of 21 — when I was 21 I was barely figuring out how to make myself “do good,” let alone feeling inspired enough to help others.
