David Beckham shared: “She only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables; she will very rarely deviate from that.” Victoria also admitted to being a picky eater, favoring meals without butter, oil, or sauces.
She gave up meat at just eight years old
Victoria, now 50, has always been picky about what she eats. She stopped eating meat when she was just eight years old and has gotten even more selective with food over the years. She says that this is in part because of her skin.

In her 20s, at the height of Spice Girls fame, Victoria struggled with acne, which made her even more careful about her food choices. She told The Telegraph, “It was because of my skin that I became very careful about what I ate.”
She avoids certain wheat and flours to maintain her glow
Victoria keeps her complexion glowing by avoiding specific types of flour and wheat. To help with her skin, she opts for cassava flour instead of the regular wheat flour.

David opened up about his wife’s restrictive diet in 2022, saying, “Unfortunately, I’m married to someone who has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years. Since I met her, she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables. She will very rarely deviate from that.”
She only shared food from his plate once, during her pregnancy
David said, “The only time she’s probably ever shared something that’s been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and it was the most amazing thing… It was one of my favourite evenings. I can’t remember what it was but I know she’s not eaten it since!”
She avoids oil, butter, sauces, and dairy completely
Victoria has openly mentioned that she doesn’t eat foods cooked in oil, sauces, or butter, and she doesn’t consume dairy either.

She follows a strict, mostly vegetable-based meal plan. At one particular event, she asked for a full vegetable-based menu and had a bowl of mints, coconut water, and hydroalcoholic gel nearby.
David shared, “It was very sad because when you make such an effort, not just me and my team but the bride and groom and everyone else to create a unique menu. Hers was totally different and just based around vegetables. And then there were some odd things that I’ve never seen in my life. She had coconut water, all the time, a bowl of mints and then on the other side hydroalcoholic gel, which is very famous now, but back then wasn’t because the Covid pandemic hadn’t started.”
And so, it seems that Victoria’s diet is as unyielding as her sense of style — grilled fish, veggies, and an occasional oddball snack. Who needs cake when you’ve got coconut water and hydroalcoholic gel, right?
