There is a lot of ignorance to unpack here. I am shook .
Bhad Bhabi , AKA, the “cash me outside” girl from Dr. Phil , is in hot water after making some undoubtedly racist comments.
Rapper, Bhad Bhabi — better known for being the girl who said “cash me outside” to Dr. Phil and called the entire audience a bunch of “hoes”, is facing backlash after making some straight-up racist comments on Instagram live.
I suppose her ignorance shouldn’t come as a surprise to me, all things considered.
But I am still absolutely shook over this.
There is a lot to unpack here. Where do I even begin?
Okay, so, here’s some background info — just to provide a little bit of perspective.
Danielle Bregoli, 17, who goes by the stage name Bhad Bhabi, has an impressive track record of saying outrageous things.

The girl has no filter.
I mean, she’s 17 years old, so to a certain extent, it is to be expected. But she really does not holdback.
But this week she seriously crossed a line.

Initially, she was under fire for ” blackfishing “, which essentially means darkening one’s complexion using self-tanner or makeup.
Here’s what she looks like most of the time:

As you can see, she has a significantly lighter skin tone.
So, naturally, fans called her out for intentionally darkening her skin.
Instead of taking accountability for her misstep and apologizing to anyone she may have offended, she took a very different approach that has evidently, made things much worse.

She explained herself via Instagram live.
This was, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst response anyone could have had to a “blackfishing” incident.

“Y’all say that I ‘try to be black,'” she said . “Because I…maybe [the] reason is because I grew up in the hood. Tarzan, right? The story of Tarzan—”
Danielle, girl, WYD?!
For those of you that aren’t familiar with the story of Tarzan , it’s about a boy who was taken in and raised by a family of gorillas.
So, yeah, basically, Bhad Bhabie just compared the hood to the jungle and black people to gorillas.
It’s clear where she was going with this argument. But I don’t think she could’ve chosen a more ignorant way of getting her point across.

Of all the words and combinations of words that exist in the english language, she really went with that?!
Anyway, just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, they did.
After comparing the race she was accused of appropriating to apes, she then implied that nobody wants to be black .
“Who wants to be black? I don’t understand that!,” she said. “I just can’t comprehend it.”

My day is officially ruined.
What I “can’t understand” is how these words came out of her mouth. SMH.
Enter: Cancel culture.
Understandably, people are outraged by Danielle’s comments.
I’m not sure if there’s any coming back from this…
This person pointed out that in the same moment she brazenly said “Who wants to be black?,” she had the nerve to be wearing a curly wig.
Not to mention, she often wears braided hairstyles as well.
Another person tweeted that for someone who appropriates black culture on a regular basis, she should be the last person implying that nobody WANTS to be black.

Clearly you do, sis!
What do you think of Bhad Bhabie’s racist comments on Instagram live? — Comparing herself to *Tarzan* and asking “Who wants to be black?”
