While the rules seem to always be changing about what is and isn’t appropriate to do during a pandemic, it seems that “large house parties” have always been on the inappropriate list. A TikTok user by the name of Bryce Hall seemed to think otherwise after throwing himself a birthday party at his house in Los Angeles.

TikTok star Bryce Hall boats a massive following across his social media platforms.

With 6.1 million Instagram followers and 13 million followers on TikTok, Bryce has a huge social media influence, but it looks like he and his roommates, fellow TikTok stars Noah Beck and Blake Gray may not be using that influence wisely.
In honor of Bryce’s 21st birthday, a massive house party was thrown at their home in Los Angeles.
Videos of the party show that there were a large number of guests who were not socially distanced or wearing masks.
Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti has now spoken out both on Twitter and in an official statement about the punishment faced by these youth.
While he didn’t mention Bryce by name, Garcetti stated that “despite several warnings,” the house “has turned into a nightclub in the hills, hosting large gatherings in flagrant violation of our public health orders.”
“The City has now disconnected utilities at this home to stop these parties that endanger our community,” Garcetti’s statement continued.
On Twitter, Garcetti echoed this sentiment, adding that large parties are in “flagrant violation of our public health orders.”
Bryce’s actions have been controversial.
While Bryce has many fans sticking up for him and his behavior, others have been calling his actions “selfish” .
What do you think about this situation? Is it fair that the utilities were turned off at his house, or should he have the right to do what he chooses in his own home? Let us know your opinion in the comments!
