Is it just me, or does it seem that when you become a parent, suddenly everything makes you cry. I swear, I can’t even watch diaper commercials anymore without my eyes welling up. Parents are emotional creatures, I suppose.
A new music video from Michael Bublé has parents everywhere reaching for the tissues over the way it depicts how quickly our kids grow up. I was not prepared for all these feelings, Michael!
Besides being a talented singer and performer, Michael Bublé is also a devoted dad.
Michael is the father of three children: Noah, Elias, and Vida.
He’s been candid about his journey involving Noah’s cancer diagnosis and treatment in the past. Thankfully, Noah is now cancer-free, and a song on Michael’s newest album called “Forever Now” was written specifically with his kids in mind.
Since the song was written for his kids, you can expect that it’s full of love and emotion.
And now the song’s accompanying music lyric video is equally heartbreaking and lovely all at the same time.
The video opens with a shot of an empty room.
Then, before our eyes, the room becomes a nursery.
Through a series of time-lapse snapshots, the room continues to change to reflect a growing child.
It isn’t long before the nursery is a kid’s room.
You can probably see where this video is going, and amazingly it manages to capture an entire childhood in one music video.
On YouTube, parents and non-parents alike have been moved to tears over this video.
It’s basically the musical version of Love You Forever . I’m honestly afraid to press play because I know I’ll be crying within the first 10 seconds.
If you want to check it out for yourself, watch below.
Grab some tissues and press play. It’s a really cool and touching video, and you can’t go wrong with Michael’s incredible voice, either.
