With skills that landed him a job for a private jet charter company, one 19-year-old is turning his now-famed Twitter bot format towards an important target amidst the conflict in Ukraine.
He gained some fame for tracking Elon Musk ‘s flights and turning down the tech giant’s offer to stop, and now he’s making sure Russian Oligarchs feel the same heat by tracking their every move.
One tech-savvy teen is putting his skills to good use.
Jack Sweeny made headlines after creating a Twitter bot that tracked all the flights done by Elon Musk’s private jet. The tech entrepreneur even privately messaged him, offering to pay him to take it down. Sweeny tried to up his offer of $5000 tenfold, only to be blocked by the famed Tesla CEO.
That’s not the only bot Sweeny has made, though.

He’d previously made a number of them, all tracking private celebrity flights, often of those big in the tech world.
Due to recent events and the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he’s set his sights elsewhere for the moment.
He launched a new Twitter account named Russian Oligarch Jets.
It tracks, you guessed it, the flights of private jets belonging to Russian Oligarchs. Over the first weekend of its creation, it accumulated over 66,000 followers. It now has just under 370k followers.
He even made a special account just for Putin.
Though this one comes with a disclaimer as seen above, where he claims it might not be as accurate as his other bots that use a more precise method of tracking.
Sweeny’s bot has already discovered some rather interesting movements, like Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich taking a trip to the Caribbean this past week.
