Being a teacher in today’s day and age is very challenging. Aside from having to teach through a global pandemic with everyone getting sick, the kids today are not the same as we were when we were students .
With social media and technology being their main priority, students struggle and also don’t have the same level of attention span or even respect for their teachers. Sometimes, we see some weird, crazy things in classrooms.

A whole pencil in the eye.
“I was standing in for another teacher during a math lesson. I was helping one student at his desk when another student started screaming. He had been playing around and falling out of his seat on purpose for a laugh, unfortunately, the last fall got him a pencil in the eye,” said Bingo_is_my_name_o.
A teacher aide that punched a 6-year-old student.
stfuandgovegan, a special education teacher and teacher’s aide punched a student (6-years-old) with autism in the face and gave them a bloody nose. They reported it to the school and CPS, but the aide made up a story and in turn, still works there.
Totally pooped his pants.
igottathinkofaname said a 1st or 2nd grader at her school pooped his pants completely, full-blown diarrhea. He just touched his pants, sniffed them, and continued walking on. She informed his teacher to let him know what happened and to handle it.
Creepy pastors.
takotsadilim was teaching a summer bible class when she noticed that the Pastor was “eyeing” a few of the students in the class, and not in a professional or a religious way. She reported the pastor and then was asked not to return to teach in the program.
Fights happen, but this is bad.
Somerandomsheeppp said that there were two guys that were fighting over some petty drama, which happens at most schools, but one kid had a heart condition and he ended up having a heart attack. Luckily, the student was fine and lived, but the other kid got expelled.
A girl lost three teeth in one class period.
“I had a sixth-grade girl lose three teeth in the span of a class period. They were loose because she was a foster child who had grown up in some seriously f ked up and poor conditions and didn’t have dental hygiene until she was removed from said f ked-up home life,” said acgasp.
That’s too much for me.
Grieie was student teaching and teaching a math class how to read and use graphs when she asked them to give a thumbs up if they understood. She saw one kid do something that looked like a thumbs up, but was really a blow job motion.
That’s a weird trend.
NeenIsabelle said that in the science lab, a “very popular girl” stabbed another girl in the butt with a pencil. A couple of weeks later, she did it again but to another girl. Apparently, the other girl was also in on it.
Ah, middle school.
“Not me, but a fellow teacher was teaching class. After the first lesson, the class takes a ten-minute break.
He goes back to his desk, about two minutes before to finish his lesson. A student comes back and say a girl was stabbed ( she wasn’t ) and there was blood on the floor. She became a woman that day,” said Jncocontrol.
Good thing that kid was there.
StikBugg said in their own class, a student was mad about a grade they got and spoke to the teacher. He didn’t like what the teacher said, so he went to his desk, grabbed a pen, and charged at the teacher to stab her. Another kid “mom armed” the kid and made him stop in his tracks.
Who did it?
ChineseNoodleDog said in their middle school, a student ripped the sink off the wall in the boy’s bathroom. However, the sink was super loose for a really long time so it could have been an accident. But the school had a bounty out to find out who did it.
Poor kid.
Apprehensive-Roll651 said that it’s always the worst when parents bring their kids to school, sick and all. Like, when his kindergartener had a bad stomach bug and the parents brought him into school anyway and he totally pooped himself in the middle of class.
This is why kids shouldn’t have tasers.
F3nixF1re’s mother is a teacher and said that one of her students brought one of those mini tasers into school with him. He was playing around with it quietly in the back of the room when he tased himself, fell backward, and hit his head on a chair.
An entire exorcism.
“I work at a very small school, only about 10 teachers. During a pre year meeting one teacher out of no where started having a break down, screaming, crying, etc. Another teacher immediately goes Christ mode and starts to exorcise the demons from her,” said cryhavok83.
I’ll never forget this.
badgurlvenus said that during lunch, they heard a huge scream from a student. The student had been eating at lunch using chopsticks and she fell over and one of the chopsticks stabbed her and went through her cheek. OMG.
