I think that 2020 is a year that’s in desperate need for more good news, and if you’re a fan of fun sci-fi action flicks starring the king himself, Sylvester Stallone, you’re definitely in for some good news.
*Demolition Man* was a film released in 1993 starring Sylvester Stallone, Wesley Snipes, and Sandra Bullock.
Taking place in 2032, Stallone plays a police sergeant who was cryogenically frozen in 1996 and is thawed out in a world where violent crime has all but been eradicated.
Stallone was recently answering a few questions on Instagram when he was asked if there were plans for a *Demolition Man 2*.
“I think there is. We’re working on it right now with Warner Bros. and it’s looking fantastic,” Stallone replied. “So that should come out, that’s going to happen.”
Stallone said that things were “looking fantastic” as far as the sequel went.
While it’s not clear how far along in the process the movie is, fans are still pretty excited about the idea of the sequel happening at all almost 30 years later.
“Demolition Man 2? Legit stoked to see where they take it, still… don’t think it’ll come close to the first but still hyped to see it!” one fan tweeted.
