Jared Padalecki, best known for his longtime role as Sam Winchester on the hit show Supernatural , was arrested for alleged assault and public intoxication over the weekend, TMZ reports.
Padalecki, 37, was arrested outside the Stereotypes bar in Austin, TX.
TMZ reports that this a bar Padalecki frequents “quite often,” and with one local report stating that he may be an investor or part-owner of the club, although this has not been confirmed.

One report states that the actor allegedly “struck a bartender in the face,” as well as “got into it with the general manager […] and struck him in the face as well.”

In the video, you can see someone putting Padalecki into a headlock. You can also see him being arrested by the police as the video cuts forward. According to an eyewitness, Padalecki then pulled out a “wad of cash” and started “flashing” it at the police.
Padalecki’s bond was set at $15k.
That amount was reached based on $5k per each charge — two counts of assault and one for public intoxication.
