It might seem like 2020 is just full of bad news after bad news, with all of our good things getting delayed or postponed or outright cancelled.
Luckily, just like her last announcement , Twilight author Stephenie Meyer is here to give us the good news we’ve so desperately needed to distract us from what’s going on around us right now.
Pretty much everybody had a *Twilight* phase.
If you didn’t have one, you probably know someone who did, even if (like me) they just pretended to enjoy the series “ironically” to hide the fact that they did really love it.
Twi-hards have a lot of reasons to rejoice lately!
Stephenie Meyer’s latest book in the *Twilight* universe was just released.

Midnight Sun , the long-awaited re-telling of the events of the first Twilight book except this time from Edward Cullen’s perspective, was released on August 4th to much excitement from the legions of Twi-hards, both new to the series and longtime readers.
Now, Stephenie just revealed that she has two more books in the series planned.
““There are two more books I think in the world that I want to write. I have got them outlined and a chapter written I think of the first one, so I know it’s there. I am not ready to do that right now. I want to do something brand new,” Stephenie said .
Obviously, fans are excited.
And by ‘fans’ I also mean ‘me,’ because I definitely needed this good news to get through what is shaping up to be the longest year ever (especially while I’m waiting for my copy of Midnight Sun to arrive in the mail).
Are you excited? Let us know in the comments!
