Of all the incredible new series that are currently making the rounds across streaming platforms, few if any have captured audiences to the same degree as Yellowstone .
If you’re anything like me, then you can hardly wait for the new season to come along. In the meantime, here are 15 incredible series that every true fan of Yellowstone should be watching.
‘Walker, Texas Ranger’

This one is an oldie but a goodie. For those who grew up in the ’90s, I won’t waste your time expounding on the greatness that is Chuck Norris. For all those who didn’t, it’s high time you learned a little TV cowboy history.
‘Hell On Wheels’

This action-packed period piece tells the story of Cullen Bohannon: a former Confederate soldier who can’t seem to put the memories of his dead wife behind him. When the guilt and grief become too much to bear, Cullen sets out to plot his revenge against the Union who took his love from him.
‘Wynonna Earp’

Wynonna Earp is the great-great-granddaughter of the Wild West’s most notorious lawman, Wyatt Earp . Set in present times, Wynonna sets out to intact her own form of paranormal justice upon an onslaught of demons and other supernatural creatures.
‘Cowboy Bebop’

It’s true that the live-action Netflix series Cowboy Bebop was canceled after only one season. However, this is an example of a show that came and went before anyone had the chance to truly grasp what it was and what it was trying to do.
‘Westworld’

The great thing about Westworld is that it boasts all of the same western-inspired grit as Yellowstone but fuses it with deeply philosophical science fiction conundrums. If you’ve ever wondered what it means to be human whilst wearing a cowboy hat, then you’ll love this show.
‘The Son’
I would argue that The Son is well worth the watch simply for Pierce Brosnan’s incredible facial hair. But beyond that, the series tells the story of the great American expansion, as told through the eyes of a Texas oil tycoon and his family.
‘Hatfields & McCoys’

If you just can’t seem to get your fill of Kevin Costner acting like a cowboy, then Hatfield & McCoys is just what the doctor ordered. This 2012 miniseries tells the tale of the bitter blood feud between the two most famous families of the American west.
‘Justified’

I don’t know about you, but I just can’t seem to ever get enough of Timothy Olyphant. Watching him as U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens patrolling the mean streets of Kentucky is sure to give you all the Yellowstone feels.
‘Boardwalk Empire’

Perhaps the only thing more brutal than the expansion of the American west was the prohibition era of the 1920s. Steve Buscemi is every bit as commanding on-screen as Kevin Costner, and the writing/character development is second to none.
‘The Mandalorian’

What was it that I was just saying about Timothy Olyphant? I know on the surface, a Star Wars spinoff might seem like an odd suggestion. However, The Mandalorian is essentially a classic spaghetti western set in the deepest recesses of outer space.
‘Power’

Power manages to effortlessly balance the eloquence and excess of Manhattan nightlife, contrasted with the dirty gritty underbelly of the international drug trade. This show is in many ways a modern reworking of Francis Ford Copolla’s The Godfather .
‘Deadwood’

By now, you’re probably getting pretty sick of me talking about my undying love for Timothy Olyphant — just kidding! How could you be, am I right? Deadwood is set in the late 1800s and revolves around the lives and corrupt inner workings of the townspeople of Deadwood, South Dakota.
‘1883’

It would stand to reason that if you’re a fan of Yellowstone , then you’re also probably going to enjoy the prequel series 1883 . Set around the turn of the 20th century, 1883 tells the story of John Dutton’s great-grandfather and the founding of the Yellowstone Ranch.
‘Sons Of Anarchy’

If you put Yellowstone and Shakespeare’s “Hamlet” into a box and shook it up, what would eventually tumble out is Sons Of Anarchy . This MC tragedy tells the story of Jax Teller as he rises through the ranks of an outlaw motorcycle gang.
‘The Sopranos’

No other show compares to Yellowstone quite like The Sopranos . If you think that John Dutton is one tough SOB, just wait until you meet Anthony Soprano. As far as I’m concerned, The Sopranos is still the best TV drama of all time.
