I don’t know about you, but looking at weirdly satisfying things is one way for me to relax. Something about these strange things are just so relaxing .
Which is what makes this list so perfect. Every single pic feels so satisfying in its own way. I can practically feel all the stress from my busy day melting away right now.
“I finished my notepad and pen at the same time.”

As someone who has never once finished a pen or a notepad, I have to say this is pretty awesome. It’s like these things were meant to be used together. They lived and died as one. Or something.
“This patio umbrella with fresh snow.”

Snow is both the best and worst part of winter. It sucks because it means shoveling driveways, hidden ice, and driving slowly. But it’s great because the freshly fallen stuff always looks so perfect. I can’t stop staring.
“This stack of presents I just finished wrapping for our customers.”

The fact that all of those boxes fit perfectly in those trays is making me so giddy right now. Like, things never work out this well. And yet here we are to witness such an amazing thing.
“Satisfying array of colors giving off a retro feel.”

Have you ever tried pouring paint? If you have, you’ll know that it’s not only a surprisingly relaxing way to make art, but it also creates some really satisfying images. This one is definitely not an exception.
“Cat looking out a window becomes a mythical tree creature.”

I don’t know why this is so satisfying to look at, but it is. I feel like that cat was born to sit in that tree’s reflection. Just one of those right place, right time kind of things, I guess.
“Fresh snow on cobblestones.”

Okay, now no one can walk on that road until the snow melts. The last thing this beautiful pattern needs is gross footprints, after all. But at least we have this picture to remember that this really happened somewhere in the world.
“I scrubbed one side of a pan I’ve had for many years.”

As gross as the left side of the pan is, it was almost worth not cleaning it for years just to see the transformation. This is honestly the only good thing about cleaning anything.
“The gradient of bread.”

The best thing about this toast gradient is that it’s satisfying and probably also tasty. The worst thing, though, is the fact that the more I stare at it, the hungrier I get. I might need some toast…
“Color scheme of conference hotel matches company color (orange pen).”

I guess because these colors are complementary to one another, but they look so great side by side. This is, like, a textbook definition of a satisfying image. If I stare at this too long, I might not get any other work done today.
“My attempt of the Eldridge knot.”

I’ve never tied a tie before. Well, I’ve tried, but they usually end up in knotted messes. I guess some people aren’t meant to wear ties. Not this person, though. This person is, like, a tie-tying champ.
“Pastel homes in Daly City.”

These houses are so pretty! But they aren’t the only super satisfying part of the picture. Look at this line of cars, each one with their wheel turned toward the curb. Who would’ve thought so many people would know how to park on a hill?
“When people put their carts away correctly.”

This is the literal opposite of watching someone stick their cart in a random parking spot or on a median. Imagine a world where people had enough respect to keep the cart corral as neat as this one? We’d probably have world peace.
“This Car Wash’s soap solution looks the molten lava.”

Okay, I can’t be the only one who thinks lava is insanely satisfying to look at, right? And while this soap (wax?) isn’t exactly lava, it’s giving me the same energy.
Since this in an ad, they probably increased the lava-ness for effect, but that doesn’t stop the satisfaction.
“A biscuit pack without a single crumb or broken biscuit.”

Just when you thought you’d seen it all, life throws a real curveball at you. This pack of biscuits can literally never be opened, or dropped, or handled too much. It has to stay perfect at all costs!
“These are all from the same beach near old mines in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula.”

Because rocks are just so satisfying at times. I love the fact that these ones create an entire gradient. In fact, this would probably be a great color scheme for a really pretty painting (one full of rocks, perhaps).
“Beach Candy (Sea Rocks).”

This is kind of a dangerous image. These rocks are so pretty, but they also actually look like candy. I’d be tempted to chomp down on one, just to see if they taste as sweet as they look. It wouldn’t be worth breaking my teeth, though.
“Perfect skiing slope.”

Okay, now no one can ever go skiing on this slope again. We’ve achieved peak humanity right here. Perfect snow arranged in perfectly spaced lines all along a slope? Yeah, sign me the heck up for that!
“Finally happened to me. Feels good, man.”

I feel like if this ever happens to you, you should probably go and buy a lottery ticket. Because your luck would be through the roof! Seriously, how often does something like this even happen?
“The colours in this sink.”

I usually don’t like sinks that aren’t plain white porcelain (because they’re usually ugly), bit this one’s actually pretty! It would be kind of a shame to wash dirty hands in it, though. This sink is for clean hands only!
“This dissipating sculpture.”

To be honest, the lighting is making this so much cooler. Everything just feels so right , you know? Like, the colors reflecting on the statue, but also the statue itself and its amazing pattern, but also the serene background. Yeah, that’s the stuff.
