It’s never easy to hear a character you love so much is exhausting for the actor to play. While I do believe actors have it very easy in comparison to us normal folks, there’s no denying they have to be more vulnerable and creative and giving with their time and energy.
The only things that are getting my time and energy these days is my crockpot and my pajamas.

We may all like different styles of food, music, and fashion, but I think it’s safe to say we can come together and all enjoy Mr. Bean.
A staple since the ’90s, Mr. Bean is a loveable, hilarious character portrayed by comedian and actor Rowan Atkinson.
Now, the 65-year-old will be bringing Mr. Bean to a whole new generation with an upcoming animated movie which Rowan will be voicing.
Now, the actor is opening up about the relief he feels as he prepares to retire the beloved Mr. Bean.
“Having made an animated TV series, we’re now in the foothills of developing an animated movie for Mr. Bean – it’s easier for me to perform the character vocally than visually,” Rowan revealed to the Radio Times, according to Yahoo .
“I don’t much enjoy playing him. The weight of responsibility is not pleasant. I find it stressful and exhausting, and I look forward to the end of it,” he continued.
As it turns out, it kind of sounds like Rowan doesn’t enjoy acting altogether.
“I don’t actually like the process of making anything – with the possible exception of Blackadder because the responsibility for making that series funny was on many shoulders, not just mine.”
“Watching an adult behaving in a childish way without being remotely aware of his inappropriateness is fundamentally funny. The fact the comedy is visual rather than verbal means it has been successful internationally, too.”
While there’s no denying the beloved British character has brought smiles to millions of fans worldwide, it’s no fun to hear how much Rowan dislikes portraying the character. However, I can’t say I feel all that bad for him — Mr. Bean has made Rowan Atkinson a household name, and also VERY RICH!
