Siblings just have a way with words, don’t they?
The Irwins are one of our favorite families ever, and moments like this make it clear why. In a new interview discussing Bindi Irwin’s pregnancy, Robert poked a little bit of fun at his sister in the most classic little-brother way possible, which earned him a bit of scolding from his mom!

The Irwins are truly an amazing family.
Not only did they come together during a time of personal grief and tragedy and come out the other end stronger, they’ve also spent their lives upholding Steve Irwin’s legacy and goals of animal conservation.
Bindi Irwin, 24, announced last year that she and her husband, Chandler Powell, were expecting a baby.
“Chandler and I are proud to announce that we’re expecting! It’s an honour to share this special moment in our lives with you. Though I’m still in my first trimester, we really want you to be part of our journey from the beginning of this new life chapter,” Bindi wrote at the time.
“We couldn’t wait to share the news as this beautiful little being has become the most important part of our lives.”
“Your support means the world to us. Please let me know your best advice and send good vibes & prayers to our little sweetheart. Love & light,” the announcement ended.
Since then, Bindi and her family have shared a lot of this beautiful journey with their fans over social media.
Like the fact that they’re having a little girl!
“Baby girl, you are our world,” Bindi revealed on Instagram. “Our beautiful daughter is now about the same size as a hatchling Aldabra tortoise and is as healthy as can be. We can’t wait for her arrival next year.”
The entire family has been open about how excited they are for Bindi and Chandler’s little bundle of joy!
Although not *everything* the family has said has been about excitement.
Like any family, sometimes your little sibling just needs to poke a little fun at your expense, even if you’re pregnant!
Robert Irwin did exactly that when he made a joke about how far along his sister is in a recent interview.
Robert and Terri Irwin were giving an interview about Bindi’s pregnancy.
“She’s due next month so it’s that sweet spot where you really miss being able to see your shoes,” Terri began in the short clip.
“She’s massive right now,” Robert laughed, which earned him a gentle punch in the arm from his mother.
“Spoken like a true little brother,” one of the hosts of the program joked.
“In a good way!” Robert was quick to add.
“She’s not here right now,” Robert added, to much laughter from his mother and the interviewers.
“You are in so much trouble with your sister after this,” Robert was told.
Robert retweeted the hilarious clip with the caption, “Haha… woops!”
Bindi responded to Robert’s retweet in good humor.
“‘Don’t tell her about this,'” she quoted Robert from the video. “Thanks Robert! Love ya!” she added a laughing emoji for good measure.
