On October 1st, the world was shocked and devastated to hear that Canadian actor Rick Moranis, age 67, was the victim of an unprovoked attack in Manhattan that was caught on video.
Rick has given an update on his health after the attack, while the search continues for the unidentified assailant.

Best known for his roles in Ghostbusters; Spaceballs; Honey, I Shrunk The Kids; Little Shop Of Horrors ; and for playing half of the iconic Bob & Doug McKenzie on SCTV and the film Strange Brew , Rick retired from acting in 1997 to raise his two children.
On October 1st, CBS New York reported that Rick had been the victim of an unprovoked attack in the streets of Manhattan, New York City.
It was reported that Rick was taken to the hospital with pain in his head, back, and hip before reporting the crime.
Through his representation, Rick has now spoken out about the incident.
Rick’s management team said in a statement that Rick is “fine, but grateful for everyone’s thoughts and well wishes.”
The NYPD also stated that “He’s doing well. He’s strong. He’s recovering,” and that “he just wants to stay home,” and “recover.”
