If you’ve ever decided to start your own fitness or weight loss journey, you know how hard it can be to stay motivated when it’s so much easier to just stick with the lifestyle you’re most familiar with.
Rebel Wilson hasn’t had that problem, and in a new interview, she’s opened up about exactly how her old lifestyle used to be.
Rebel Wilson has been enjoying her self-proclaimed ‘Year Of Health.’

As Rebel has recently confirmed , after a year of following her diet plan and working with a personal trainer, she’s lost 40 pounds so far in 2020.
That’s absolutely amazing!
Rebel has opened up about her lifestyle before her Year Of Health.
“Before I was probably eating 3,000 calories most days, and because they were normally carbs, I would still be hungry,” Rebel revealed in a new interview about her fitness journey.

“So, I’ve really changed to eating a high-protein diet, which is challenging because I didn’t used to eat a lot of meat. I eat fish, salmon, and chicken breast,” Rebel said .
That doesn’t sound too horrible to me!
“It doesn’t mean every week is a healthy week,” Rebel explained.

“Some weeks are just write offs, and there’s nothing you can do about that. I’m just trying to go for overall balance, overall healthy balance,” Rebel continued. She also added that it’s not about restricting herself, saying, “I have this state of being, which is not my quote, but I go ‘Nothing is forbidden.'”
Rebel said she just focused on changing “bad habits to healthier ones.”
“I think I was emotional eating, and overeating at times, because I wasn’t loving myself enough either. And it does come down to that self worth and self love,” she says.
