Up and coming rapper Pop Smoke, real name Bashar Barakah Jackson, has died at the age of 20, TMZ reports .

Jackson was best known for his hit song “Welcome To The Party.”

The song was remixed by Nicki Minaj. Jackson also appeared on the song “Gatti” with Travis Scott.
TMZ reports that the rapper was at a home in Hollywood Hills when two men broke into the house.

TMZ’s law enforcement sources say the two men were wearing masks and have not yet been identified. The two men reportedly fired multiple shots at Jackson and fled on foot.
Nicki Minaj shared a post in tribute to Jackson.
“The Bible tells us that jealousy is as cruel as the grave. Unbelievable. Rest In Peace, Pop,” Nicki wrote alongside this shot of Jackson.
Tributes from fans, friends, and loved ones have been posted all across social media.
Jackson was only 20-years-old.
