Fans are not happy after Prince William was quick to call out “racist abuse” against British soccer players, while previously staying quiet when his sister-in-law, Meghan Markle endured the horrific press headlines and racism.
Now, fans are calling out William on Twitter for his ability to defend athletes, but not his own family
Prince William is known for fighting for what he believes in.

The 38-year-old dad of three has made it his priority to spend time with his family, and do important philanthropic work with his wife, Kate Middleton.
So when the future King addressed the nation about racist online rhetoric in a series of personal tweets, it was a powerful moment for many.
Over the past few weeks, some of the most prominent U.K. soccer players have been receiving hate messages online.
In an emotional message on social media, William condemned the “racist abuse” displayed against these British athletes.
“Racist abuse — whether on the pitch, in the stands, or on social media — is despicable and it must stop now,” William’s statement began.
“We all have a responsibility to create an environment where such abuse is not tolerated, and those who choose to spread hate and division are held accountable for their actions.”

He continued: “That responsibility extends to the platforms where so much of this activity now takes place. I commend all those players, supporters, clubs and organisations who continue to call out and condemn this abuse in the strongest terms. W”
While many Royal fans were happy to see Will speak up, others couldn’t help but wish he did the same for his sister-in-law, Meghan Markle.
It’s no secret the Duchess of Sussex endured relentless criticism from the media and even received physical, racist-fueled threats.
“If Prince William is really against racism, he should also condemn the constant attacks and abuse faced by his own sister in law,” tweeted user @mellissadzi.

“I really can’t believe that Prince William came to fix his mouth about racism in football, but when his sister in law was seeing racism from every corner of the globe he really had nothing to say,” tweeted another .
“The future King of England is a grade A hypocrite,” echoed a different user.
