We love the Royal Family around here, and sometimes it’s easy to forget that they’re all just humans who age. Queen Elizabeth herself is 94, but keeping active and healthy , and her husband, Prince Philip, has just hit a huge milestone birthday himself — hopefully, he’s keeping up with Her Majesty!

Prince Philip was born June 10th, 1921, which makes him 99 years old!
The official Instagram account for the Royal Family shared this previously unseen photograph of the happy couple, writing, “This new photograph of The Duke of Edinburgh and The Queen was taken last week in the quadrangle at Windsor Castle to mark His Royal Highness’s 99th birthday.”
They also shared some throwback shots of Philip where he looks quite handsome!
I think he looks just like Prince William in this shot, but you can definitely see where Charles, Harry, and all their young children get their looks from! The genes in this family are definitely strong — makes sense!
Speaking of William, he and Kate also shared some photographs with Philip on their pages for his birthday.
“Wishing a very happy 99th Birthday to The Duke of Edinburgh!” they wrote alongside a series of pictures of the family.
Obviously, fans of the family showed up in the comments to leave their birthday wishes to the Prince themselves.
