Pierce Brosnan is easily one of the most loved celebrities of all time. Not only is he an eternally hunky heartthrob, but he’s a dedicated family man and loving father. Oh yeah, and he’s an actor too, but whatever — I’m not here to talk about Mamma Mia , I’m here to talk about the sweet photo Pierce just posted of his eldest son Sean, who we never get to see!
As fans of Pierce know, the actor’s life has been marked by tragedy.
The actor tragically widowed after the death of his first wife, actress Cassandra Harris, who died of ovarian cancer at the age of 43 in 1991.

Before her passing, the pair welcomed a son, Sean. Pierce also adopted Cassandra’s children, Charlotte and Chris, following the death of their father, Dermot Harris in 1986.
Tragically, the actor would loose Charlotte to the same disease in 2013.
In a life that has been filled with heartbreak, it’s clear Pierce makes every effort to keep his family close.
In 2001, Pierce married wife, Keely Shaye Brosnan. The actor and the filmmaker share sons Dylan, 24, and Paris, 20, who, as fans may recall, were Golden Globes Ambassadors in 2020.
Pierce doesn’t often share photos of his children on social media, but when he does, it’s always a treat for fans.
Here he is with his son Paris, looking dapper as ever if I do say so myself.
Now, the 68-year-old is sharing a rare photo of his eldest son Sean in honor of his birthday.
“Happy birthday Sean, we have traveled far together my dear son,” he captioned a photo of the two of them and Sean’s daughter, Marley.
“I am so proud of the man and father you have become and the son that I hold in my heart always,” he concluded.
Just when I thought I couldn’t love this many anymore, he shows up and reminds us why he’s the best dad ever!
