I might’ve mentioned to you how much I love good design . It literally makes my day when I discover something genius. On the other hand, it infuriates me to no end when I see people sleep on the job .
So I thought it would be funny to share some of these complete design disasters with you. Take a look at them and laugh or perhaps have a cry.
1. This Road ‘Fix’
I don’t know if the roads are as bad where you live. They’re a total disaster here. However, I don’t think I’ve ever seen anybody attempt to fix one like this. Wow, this one takes the cake for sure.
2. This Cabinet Door
“Put a handle on that cabinet.” “Yes, boss.”
Um, last time I checked, the handle is supposed to go on the outside of the door. Or is this some weird new design I haven’t heard of?
3. This Road Sign
I’m pretty sure this sign was supposed to say something like “Watch out for children,” but I guess something got lost in translation here. Now it’s taken on a whole other meaning, don’t you think?

4. This Parking Space
Parking spaces can be so scarce, especially in rush hour in a busy city. So imagine how infuriating it would be if you found one only to realize you couldn’t use it because of this. Ugh!
5. This Bathroom
Public bathrooms are places I like to avoid at all costs. My privacy is really is what I’m after. So I don’t understand this communal bathroom here. Is this a new idea of a meeting place? No! I’m so out of here.
6. This Truck
Road safety is such an important issue. So if you spot somebody doing stupid things, report them ASAP. The whole side of this truck was barely attached. No worries though, it’s nothing two poorly positioned yellow straps can’t fix! Wow!
7. This Mail Delivery
Have you ever received your mail like this? I have to admit it’s happened to me on a few occasions. I mean, how lazy does the mailman really have to be? You literally have one job, man!
8. This Pregnancy Test
Finding out whether you’re pregnant or not can be such a nerve-wracking experience. So it doesn’t help it much when you get a test that does this to you. OMG. I say she’s definitely pregnant, ha, ha!
9. This Clock Fix
If your wall clock got broken, I assume you would get it fixed, right? Somehow this person thought putting another one in front of the broken one was a better idea. Why? I guess we’ll never know.
10. This Fire Escape
There’s literally one job a fire escape does. You’re supposed to use it safely to get away from a fire. Good luck to anybody in this building who actually tries to do so without plunging to their death.
11. This Door To Nowhere
When you install a door, there’s a purpose for it, no? It’s supposed to lead you somewhere. So what was the point of this one here? Unless you want to plunge downwards, I don’t understand.
12. This Bread
I don’t know about you, but I want my bread fresh and crispy. So I always look for the expiry date. However, I’m not okay with having it printed on the bread itself. I mean, WTF? Come on.
13. This Pavement Fix
Perhaps I’m just very picky, but I get super annoyed when I see pavement fixed like this. I mean, would it kill them to get the job done and make it look good? Do you feel me?
14. This Street Light
If you have to drive on this street, I literally fear for your life. This street light shows both solid green and red light. So do you go, or do you stop? Figure it out at your own risk, alright.
15. These Lights
I’m the kind of person who likes everything to be neat. Perhaps I’m a little bit weird that way. But if I had to walk through this hallway here, it would be quite an experience for me. How about you?
16. This Security System
It’s really crucial to have a good security system. After all, you won’t want anybody to burglarize your home. Am I right? However, perhaps you should be more discreet when you use the passcode. What do you think?
17. This Logo
Hey, if your supermarket’s name happens to be “Logo,” you’re in luck. Otherwise, you’re definitely going to have to take these back. I guess somebody didn’t understand their job at hand and went for it anyway, hee-hee.
18. This Laptop Keyboard
Wait a minute, what’s going on here? How come I don’t see any numbers/letters on this keyboard? Well, as it turns out HP thought gray on silver was a great idea, and now the keys are virtually invisible.
Oh my goodness, can you believe these?
I had a field day going through all of these unbelievable pictures. It never ceases to amaze me the stupidity of some people. How did they get the job in the first place? I guess we will never know, lol.
