If you have kids, then you know that they call toddlerhood the “terrible twos” for a reason.
It can seem that tantrums come out of nowhere and as parents shared in a viral Reddit thread, that is often the case.
Take a look at these hilarious and relatable stories that will make parents everywhere laugh (and maybe cry a little, too).
I guess this kid and his cat don’t get along.
“The cat cheated in a game they were playing,” said johnyann.
I’m not sure how that’s possible, but I guess cats can be very sneaky.
Does Crayola even make this color?
“We didn’t have the hamburger bun color in our 120 colored pencil set,” said mryazzieyazz.
Well, I mean, they have every other color. Clearly leaving this one out was a huge oversight.
Imagine having two toddlers…
“Because she wanted a twin sister (she has a twin sister),” said notsostepfordwife.
No, not that twin sister, a different twin!
Toddler logic
“My daughter dropped a pretzel and the dog ate it. She started bawling and threw her entire cup of pretzels on the floor. Spoiler alert: the dog at those too,” said PicaRuler
Well, at least the dog was happy.
That is one thirsty toddler
“My two year old screamed b****y murder every time she finished the water I poured into her cup. She literally got mad because SHE drank all her water,” said justVinnyZee.
It is important to remember to stay hydrated!
The famous chicken nugget breakdown.
“They wanted another chicken nugget, so I gave them another chicken nugget. Breakdown,” said gloomyquelledbasket.
Chicken nuggets are supposed to bring joy, not tears!
I’m not even sure where to start with this one.
“He loved being tickled so I was tickling him one day. He let out a huge f**t and suddenly started crying and screaming. I ask him why he’s screaming and he replies with – I was saving that for later. How and why would you save a f**t?” said ShutTheFrontDoor__.
Do kids save farts? Is that a thing?
Oh, child. One day you will understand science.
“My kid was screaming at his balloons for an hour because they wouldn’t stop floating,” said PRNmeds.
Honestly, I feel like I’ve cried over less since becoming an adult.
